nothing is wrong, the fast way might be switching betwen the training and keep then as long as possible on the same level.
About your point 2 i would include Passing there, JS is pretty easy to train, since you can do it for forward depending on the starting skills you might want to train a bit JR too which you could include to your guard training.
Starting first with guard training and then switch to big men training might be easier to combine with regular matches and your other trainee(who play imho a big role there)
