last season if it weren't for 2 injuries I'd probably be fighting to survive in D4, with a very small arena and aging guys. This time: Better situation. 20-1 and HCA locked up. Now I want to get this right this time. So what should I do this next game/playoffs? What tactics should I do? My team has average sensational JS/IS (starters) and then I average just uner 110 per game. Also what should I do in D4? Firesale my 33+ yr olds to make cash, then go get 1 25k under 30 stud? then train coleman, delong, and others? or what? I know expand the arena. I'm going to expand it. I'll expand 630 seats right now so I don't need to use my 200k bonus on it. I'll use it to potentially get a stud 15ker 26 yr old. anyways whatshould I do there? want opinions.............

EDIT: aww come on! I thought this was help! man, someone please move this.................please.

REAL SORRY

Tough. You are a great energetic kid, but BB is kind of a marathon. I thought Chekreyes was mentoring you. If that is the case I would listen to what he has to say. He is a rather intelligent guy. Be patient with things. The best thing to do as a member in large country lower divisions is just be patient. Get some decent mid range potential guys for cheap on the TL. Perr All Star is plenty all the way to D3. Train those guys and let your team get better through their development. Use the cash you make to expand your arena. Your team will naturally promote all the way to D3 when it is ready.

that's what I may do if I firesale, sell the PFs, get 2 stud PFs to train with my Cs, then use my savings to get some PG/SG/SF STUDS.

of course i'm thinking of having my 2nd PF be SF built (with high secondaries, but more LI built) then have the first PF sell. then have Coleman start at PF and Delong go in at C. then get a stud SG/PG to get outta D4 (if this is what you mean, unless ur saying do a total firsale and only have Coleman/Delong to build around?!?!?!? and get a whole bunch of perr. as to build in? or what do you really mean?)

What I did to eventually win D3 was to build a team of 10 players with salaries in the 15-30K range.

*cough*and then you brought in a superstar guard that's running roughshod over the league*cough* ;)

But yes, a team with quality and depth is a good way to get through IV and to III. A team built around a single player or two can be crippled with an untimely injury or two, and will have more work managing GS, plus is susceptible to bleeding points when backups come into the game.

The way I've looked at building the team when I was in the lower divisions was that I'd bring guys in as starters, and then as I moved up I'd bring in newer guys and bump the starters to backups, and then eventually to deep bench roles and finally sell them. So for you, tough, when you pick up guys for IV, try to get guys who can help you out in IV and that you can trust to play some minutes in III if you get there, which means as few holes as possible in their game, reasonable salaries and hopefully not too old. A lot of people sell and replace their guys more frequently than I do and there's nothing wrong with that, so you can obviously do that as well.

^^^This is my advice as well.

You're the best team in your league, however there is no sure fire way to promote. Worrying about it before hand will kill you, just put your A team forward and watch it happen. Either you'll win the playoffs or else something odd will happen and you still promote due to bot cleanup.

As much money as you'd be dropping on that SG and the age he'll be at by the time you can finally afford that player, it'd be a complete waste. Plus he looks over priced, just saying.

You'd have better luck just saving up and looking for a 20-25 year old next season that'll really help your team for a LONG time.

ok, but he'd have to have more than 20k salary, which is gonna be really hard to get you know, 800k bids there, by that time I'll be stuck in a bot filled D5

then promote to D4 and probably stay there a couple of seasons then go to D3...........

also if I end out of D4, I'll scout and get a MVP trainee (preferably a C) train.....also younger players=higher demand, which means I want a 24-27 yr old then that can do for 5 seasons.........(if he's 27) or 8 seasons (if he's 24) that's my strategy, but how many people liek that go for less than 600k? 0

they go for 800+k sometimes in millions so that is why this guy could fit my bill and lasgt for 4-5 seasons.........
