I know I've seen teams with more than 1500 lower tier, which is what I currently have, but when I tried to add 500 new lower tier seats today, I got a weird error message: "The proposed expansion would exceed the maximum number of luxury boxes or courtside seats." Obviously there's some mistake, since I'm not expanding luxury boxes or courtside seats, but is there a maximum number of lower tier seats that I would be exceeding?

Not quite.

Bleachers: 30000 now (per a post by Marin in the bugs forum)
Lower Tier: 10000
Courtside: 500
Luxury Box: 50

I'm getting the same error. I'm well below the maximum, but keep getting this error.
