Just wondering if anyone else has ever had a player drop in FT?
(want to find the magic age where it starts happening)

I trained FT this past week and had a 48 year old drop. (But a 44 year old increased!). I only personally know of 1 other player that I can confirm that dropped in FT.

Also, has anyone had a FT drop in a week where they didn't train FTs? Because I'm curious if FT falls only due to negative training, or if it slowly drops on its own.

(as a side note... it's pretty strange that training can make older players *worse*!!!)

Actually, I don't think it's a bug.
There's already a similar thing that's a lot more common: very old players dropping in stamina while training stamina. Or shortly after. So this fits with that. (The other player that dropped in FT was also during FT training)

For FT/Stamina training... I believe that at some point it goes from:
normal training --> training simply not taking --> negative training

That was my theory even before hearing about FT dropping.

Though I believe the "negative training" is only slight for now. (I'd expect it to slowly increase as players get older.)
So you'd need a player with a very very low sub-level of FT to drop. Or have to do a whole lot of FT trainings. That's why they're almost unheard of I suspect.

There was a guy who's player had all skills at 1 and he says that FT is droppable. I've never seen one though.

Did his FT also drop while training it?

I've got a soon-to-be 36 year old with at least 21 FT. I'll try to remember not to fire him and see if he drops in any week I'm training FT or any week in which I'm not.That should pay dividends sometime around season 32, I imagine.

Most of his skills are 1 so it's not long before his FT drops I guess (assuming it will only drop after all skills are at 1).

No... all skills don't need to be at 1. My guy still had inept JR, plus another skill above atrocious. (so, he was rather similar to your player listed above!)

The main thing is age (being old enough) + FT having a low enough (or non-existent) sub level. The drops are all about negative training I believe. Like... my guy that dropped in FT also dropped to zero stamina while training stamina!
