I'm Ramquizibo, and I joined BuzzerBeater in season 14.
There are two parts of this game the tactics/game portion and the finances. The mistake of many people who join BB is they put the majority of the emphasis on the games/tactics and than forget the finances. By doing so they, for example, might buy a tons of expensive players that are unnecessary, never upgrade their arena, or never once change their arena seats.
I bring this up, to say this. Out of the two aspects that I just mentioned I would say that the financial side of BB would be my greater strength. It's not that I don't think I am good at running tactics, I love running statistics and numbers, I'm just trying to be a straight shooter about where I stand. The statistics, tactics and over managing structure of this game is what brought me to BB, not the basketball. I don't have a rich heritage in basketball. Truth is I would struggle to name 20 players in the NBA. Yes, I played basketball, but I was one of those guys who was fast and "the good defender", which every one knows is code for "can't shoot worth crap".
I know how the NT works and that the hardest thing is not deciding what tactics you want to run on a game to game basis, but rather to effectively communicate with managers on how NT prospects should be trained. What makes doing this so hard? The majority of managers operate for the benefit of their club team. If what we are asking managers to do will benefit them financially without much toiling they will do it, which is why the U21 does so well. People are willing to pump up the primaries of their players because it was the plan of their club team already, and having their player get on the U21 gives them an extra merchandise. The major problem is in the NT is that secondaries need to be trained as well. In order for the secondaries to be trained the manager has to play his player (usually one of his best players) out of position which makes his club team as a whole preform worse, and therefore conflicts with his primary goal in the game (which is to advance his club team as far as possible).
So how do we get people to care about the NT? By actually caring about managers' teams, more manager's would be interested in the NT. People don't like to be used, and by solely asking them to train their player within these parameters and with a certain level trainer just for the sake of the NT is using them. Not only does an interest in the NT prospects need to be shown, but also an interest in the USA managers. I would like to bridge the gap between the USA NT and the USA managers as a whole.
