Hello everybody.
Thank you for attending my press conference today, I'm sure you all have more important things to do right now like pretending to do some work. If you have the time please read this while the boss goes to grab another coffee. Do not worry. My speech will not be long.

It really hurts me to say this but I am pulling out of the running to be Australia's next NT coach. I would have really loved to follow the footsteps of some names like shepherd, Direwuuuuulf and Whitebeard for example. Season 21 is not my season to shine, YET!

Have no fear, I will be challenging Leeroy 'The Feeder' Jenkins for his U21 spot next season. I believe I am the man to lead the juniors to a championship so I will have to sit this season out and wait for Leeroy. I will be back to lead Australia to #1!!!!!!!

I expect a tight race for the NT coach position this season between Whitebeard and the random Div 4 kids from Brazil. Best of luck to Whitebeard because I hear they have some advanced methods this time around.

AUSTRALIA #1

Hi fellow Aussie community,

I would just like to formally announce that I'm running for NT coaching job again for the next 2 seasons. The last 2 seasons for the NT there have been a few highs and lows. The Asian Championships exceeded my expectations when we took home the gold. However in the World Cup, I took a few risks to try to grab a semi-final berth and it didn't pay off as that cost us a chance of going into the second group stage. I wasn't too interested in just making up numbers but rather to compete unlike some of the NT coaches.

Anyways, the biggest problem we still face is the available talent we have. At the moment, we are slowly building that talent pool and hopefully in several seasons time there will be enough talent that we can pick from around 20-30 guys for the 18 roster spots available. So what needs to be done for this to happen is to encourage more managers to train Australian players given their merchandise benefits from the NT team as well as ensure that correct training is being applied to their trainees.

Strategy wise, we can still compete with anybody with the correct tactics being applied. At this moment, inside offence is still probably superior to outside offence in the game engine after much testing. I'll try to focus my attention on testing our defence. There's always a time and place for other strategies to be used. We can only do so much with the current game engine.

One area that can definitely be greatly improved is our team's gameshape management. Having tracked the gameshapes, our best players seem to struggle with their gameshape earlier in the season while producing some fantastic results later down the track. This has slightly hurt us during the world cup as majority of the oppositions have superior gameshape. That is why I would like to further deepen our talent pool so that we can select the players who can give us the best result.

So overall the NT is in great position to continue to succeed. There are still some tweaks to be made. We can definitely get better as our talent level is a still a tier below the top countries in the world and if we work on improving that we should be able to close the gap. Other things like gameshape is not in our complete control, the NT coach can only encourage managers to play their players 55-80 minutes for each given week. As for strategies, we have to adapt and continue to use the best strategy base on the game engine, player abilities and opponent. Other than that, if elected again I'll try to put more effort on the main BB forum to get more community involvement in the NT discussion.

Thanks for reading, feel free to ask any questions.

Whitebeard

Hi to all my fellow Aussies.

I have just recently decided to run for the NT coaching job. I have currently been an active user since Season 8 and in that time, unfortunately have not managed to move into Div 1. However, I have managed to win a Division 3 title three times. I have had past experience with current Div 1 teams 'Chelsea Seagulls' , 'Whitebeard' and 'Chumunga'. By this I mean I battled Chelsea Seagulls out for a Div 3 title once and witnessed Whitebeard promote to Div 1 as I was currently in the same Div at the time. I also happened to beat Chumunga in game 3 of the Div 3 finals. My knowledge of the NT's could potentially be a lot better with some assistance as I have not been active in forums in the past. However, I promise to change this and do everything I can for this country if given the chance.

Enough of history. What I can provide for the NT is currently unknown right now, but I'm sure with a bit of work and help I can drive the NT to success. In saying this, If I were to be gifted with this role, I would indeed seek some assistance from more experienced users that have coached and had some sort of success with our Countries NT.

I'm not going to talk myself up. I have been straight up and honest with you all. With some help, I will gain the experience required for managing our Countries NT. I will always strive for gold and take everything on board that will help our great Country.

I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read this. I really hope you consider me as a genuine chance to drive our Country to success.
