Was wondering, do supporter teams getting bankrupt or inactive suffer the same fate as non-supporter teams? for example, if someone bought a supporter package of 1 year, after 6 months he got pretty busy at work and wasn't able to enter the game for 60+ days. Will his team get botted, despite the fact that he payed for 6 more months of supporter?

Yep, I did this (intentionally went bot so I could start over in the country I'm living in) and the BBs were great about transferring my Supporter to my new account.
