Hello everyone! This season the Ghana NT will compete in the African Championship. We will play against all teams in a round robin group. All the matches take place in Egypt. The first 6 teams qualify for the next round. Currently the Ghana NT is ranked 55th in the world. Not getting below that will be one of the goals during my term. I think we have a solid team and we have a chance to go to the semis and of course the final if players are in good shape and there are no injuries. We have a core group of players whom I will rely on. We also have players getting training which will become part of the core in the future. I keep in touch with managers about some players and of course with the U21 manager. Anyway, our first match is against the Senegal NT. They are ranked 89th but this is a little delusive since they have a pretty decent team. At the moment they have 14 players, and most of them are in bad shape. I will post more info about our team/matches throughout the season, each week. Let's hope for a great season without injuries!

A comfortable win today. We won every quarter and eventually the match with a 24-point difference. We had some foul troubles with Ehemba, T. Ndiaye and A. Ndiaye committing 4 fouls each but the backups did a good job and we eased to a win. Some of our usual starters had a poor form and I had to replace them. I hope their managers will look after their shape so that I can use them in matches. Anyway, Algeria will be our next opponent. They lost to Nigeria with a 24-point difference today. Let's hope we keep on the good work!

Another comfortable win - 113-98. It came a little harder though. We lost the first quarter. Fortunately we closed the gap and took the lead in the 2nd quarter after we scored 36 points. No foul troubles this time. Tony Ndiaye was our most effective player with 25 points. Staiti, Algeria's best player, was their most effective player with 26 points. Yet again, some of our usual starters were in poor shape so I couldn't use them, but I hope their managers will gradually get their minutes back to normal. Our next opponent is South Africa who lost 82-91 to Nigeria. They were close to winning the match though. Let's hope for nice game shape for our players and of course no injuries!

3rd win in a row! A 24-point difference in the end, just like our first game against Senegal. You'd think it was a piece of cake but in reality the win came very very hard. We were only 4 points ahead after the 3rd quarter. And both teams were pretty even in the first 3 quarters. But in the last quarter we showed what we were capable of and won it 42-22. In the end the final score was 111-87 and we continue to be undefeated. What I don't like about last night's match was the amount of fouls we committed - 23. A very similar game to our very first match against Senegal where we committed 24 fouls and won with exactly the same point difference. Fortunately, none of our players had 5 or more fouls. We are now looking forward to our next match - against Morocco, who lost against Nigeria. Let's keep up the good work!

We won our 4th win out of 4 matches today against Morocco. We took the lead from the beginning, extended it gradually, and were always in the driving seat. The final score is 109-75. Yet again, we committed more fouls than we should have, and as a result of this our starting PF and SG were replaced by the backups in the first half. A lot of players played a good amount of time, and even one of our reserves had to replace our backup PF because of an injury, but fortunately the player is ok and will be available for our next match. Now 3 teams have 4 wins out of 4 matches - Egypt, Ghana and Nigeria. Our next game is against Nigeria next Monday and we are looking forward to it.

Impressive win today! We beat Nigeria, the current African champions, 122-103. Both Ghana and Nigeria were level pegging in the first half and the score after 24 minutes was 52-51 in favour of Ghana. However, Ghana dominated the second half and won both the 3rd and the 4th quarters impressively. We managed to successfully stop the star of Nigeria, Ben Usman, whose shooting was 9-25. Overall, i'm very satisfied with the result and I think we deserved to win that game which positions us 2nd, equal with Egypt. Our next match will be against the hosts, Egypt. This will be our hardest match in this phase, but we'll do our best to make the most of it. Let's now enjoy the win!

Yet again great work, it is impressive to see what can be done when the driver isn't asleep at the wheel.

Ahahah you're so funny, dude. You rosik everywhere :)

Tell me, how can i win if in the only match with a similar opponent i don't have my best player (injured) and the other guard has game shape 4 despite my messages?

I really don't understand how you can be so blind to don't understand the difference between a major team with a solid base and a u21 team started with TWO players only. I think i do 100 better than you can do, because if you don't understand the BASIC things i don't believe you can do something good. In fact every time we asked you what you should do for improve ghana NT you answered NOTHING.

So please shut up and stop offending.

Cheers
