I was told that if I want to focus on one player, I should train one position for each skill. However there are several skills, e.g. JS, that can only be trained on at least two positions. So what should I do?
Thanks!

Play your guard at PG or SG. Rebounding, One on One and Jump Shot are the skills that train at least 2 positions. I would advise you to train these skills mainly when your trainee (or trainees) minutes are less than 48 in their position or during 2 game weeks (All-Star Week, offseason).
