If you can find an 18 YO allstar potential guy or higher, then buy them for a reasonable price. If you can't find any good ones, then wait for the draft.

There's no player that you'll be able to afford where the five weeks of missed training is going to amount to a significant difference. It's more important to take your time to find a good trainee at a good price rather than trying to worry about not getting the absolute maximum training.

We're only 3 weeks into the season, you haven't missed that much training.
