If I understand you correctly, you want to say OD stops too many offensive skills, while too many defensive skills are needed to stop IS?

I dont know if I understand what you mean, but my question is this:

How is it realistic that a player can be a tremendous inside defender but a pitiful shot blocker? Have any one ever encountered such a player in real life?

Yeah, that's probably one of the main reasons why is it easier to build a LI team then a Motion, R&G or Patient team. Or a team for any other tactic for that matter. However, if in the future a team comes and wins B3 with a non-inside tactic, it will probably revolutionize the training. Especially if that team will dispatch LI-based tames easily. I don't see it in foreseeable future though.

The biggest problem is the time needed to build such a team. I have an idea on how to do it and still keeping your starting five's salary under 1M, but it takes time.

Well I'll give you some food for thought...

MVP with very low sublevel is enough for him. He plays like champ on SF, PF or C spot and defends opposing PGs / SGs. Salary: a bit over 100k. Tough to train? Only IS. Other than that, he's a regular guard. Only weakness: RB in offense.

I think we are so caught in this LI-LP loop and how to defend it that we stopped thinking outside the box.
