Disclaimer: Sorry for the somewhat silly questions but just wanna make sure.
1) The points per shot has nothing to do with the FGs achieved right?
So for example, my SG went 4-13 FG and 1-6 3pt (113 points per shot), yet he had more points per shot than my PF who went 12-18 FG, 2-4 3pt (115 points per shot). This means that on a "normal" day (normal random distribution), the PF should have less scored points than my SG. Correct? I'm just wondering because this is the 2nd game I see my "mediocre" PF overperforming which is questionable.
2) The ratings players receive (i.e: 5.0, 7.5, etc) is what? How good they performed compared to what's expected? How good they are overall no matter how they performed? Or something else?
3) Something didn't make sense for me last game...
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/50214705/boxscore.aspxMy outside scoring was inept (high), and my inside scoring was awful (low).
Looking at the opponent, they had better perimeter defense than inside defense.
Also my C and PF had higher points per shot than guards.
Now why is that? Something to do with the fact that I used run and gun? Or something else?...
