Is there any actual difference between training One on One for guards and forwards, apart from the affected players of course? Do they affect skills any differently?

Also, seeing as handling receives elastic effect from pretty much everything, is there a point in training it instead of other outside skills in the long term?

1on1 guards: DR HA JS
1on1 forwards: DR HA IS JS

Handling does receive secondary training from a number of options. From what I've read not a lot of people train handling directly but get pops from training other things.

Obviously if you have a player that has 7 or 8 in all skills and a 1 in handling then you might have to train handling. This would be elastic effect pulling that lone 1 skill up to the others quickly.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Thanks, that helps. My trainee's handling is only 3 points behind his other skills (all of which will go up by at least 2 before I move on from training them) so I guess I'll just leave the cross training to take care of it.

I always do 1x1 for forwards for the IS secondary. When I started out, my trainee had 2 more points of HA than DR, and still does! I have also never trained handling on him.
