This forum has been quiet for so long now i just thought id put out a message to the other teams in our division to see who is around regularly / socially.

So yesterdays games were pretty exciting with the top teams clashing in both conferences. With Godspeed's team playing like they mean business and Wrose players looking like they were saving themselves for another day, it was inevitable Godspeed would come out on top.

So now four teams have a 7-1 record in the chase for that home court advantage in the playoffs. Who will come out on top?!

Poll:  Who do you think will have the best record by the end of the season?

id like to but its easier said than done. There are many teams who have made the necessary investments in the arena and players as i have, except i have the disadvantage of training out of position.

It means when i do go for promotion i have to be pretty sure im going to get it otherwise ill end up staying in div II with some very expensive trainees on my team with even less chance of getting promoted because ill have to make up for it with weaker players elsewhere in my roster :<

i have to avoid falling into this trap (or being forced to sell my homegrown talents) which is hard.

i know what you mean - you tend to have a cycle of getting stronger but then when you get there everyone wants to topple you remember being beaten a few times in divII when the opp played CT and I thought why??

EBBL i tough to progress - I am on the tougher side so all teams well established - got lucky last year with a couple of teams going bot but this season is tough! cant train my propsect at the moment properly as I am trying to stay in the cup as well!

good luck this season and try not to sell HG talent ive kept Ellsworth and singh pretty much from day 1 and dont think i could let them go!

Hey i miss you Mikramus! It is very quiet here though. Im not sure how many teams solidly train their players here, or even how many train U21s as well. i must admit since getting married (and doing other real life stuff) ive had a lot less time for managing the Warriors and helping out the U21s/NT.
On the plus side though i have some good guys coming through which may make it into the NT in seasons to come which will be a great achievement for me.
The difficulty is trying to be the best of the best here to earn promotion to the EBL. There are some strong teams here (particularly Wrose Warriors who have some beast inside players) but even then there are some other teams who have started to show even they arent invincible. I also have some big games coming up. With three teams tied on 14-2 with small basket difference separating them it will be an interesting fight for home court advantage in the play offs.

But hey, how's your season going? The EBL has seen a lot of managers leave over the last few seasons, has this season been more stable?

Mikramus iwish you were back in div 2.iii !! Would make my life easier lol but yes it's a hard division to get out of and in the ebbl there is definitely a tougher side to go into and I'm in it!! Just trying not to get automatic relegation is difficult enough but hopefully I have seen off hadron c now for the coveted 7th spot!!!

Warriors should really be in ebbl as it was not setting your line up against me that let me in so hope this time it happens fluff! Must admit real life gets in the way lol I Amon my fourth child now 3 boys and finally a girl who is 4 months old and a job that is a 100 mile round commute each day so lucky to have a phone that can sort out game day although didn't yesterday and managed to squeak past miks!
