Had a scrimmage yesterday and after match I see:
Your team effort for this game: Normal
BC RV put more into this game than The Kievan Cossacks.

Is this just presentational error or what is going on?

There used to be a bug where you can copy the lineup from a previous game, and the TIE/CT tactic will get copied as well, even though there is no box in the SC match directions. I thought this was resolved, though.

Either way, TIE in SC doesn't affect enthusiasm, so loss (or gain ;)) there.

Therefore, there is still a bug. All scrimmages should be played in Normal.

Yup. I imagine that since the bug is with little consequence, it's not very high on the list of priorities.

it doesn't affect the game... its a presentation bug.. that line should be taken out of the asp page. The game engine ignores that part of the tactical setting when it loads the tactics.

OK. Thanks for the explanation. I thought I had lost by such a big margin because of the TIE. It was just because my players were bad then ;-)
