I'm starting to lose games that I thought I was a heavy favorite in, based on my player salaries, overall ranking and strengths. Any ideas what might be causing this? Is it just my tactics don't match the strength of my team? What should I try to change up?

You need to manage you player's game shape better, I think it's one of the main reasons

train game shape and stamina. keep them up to par and also check the player sub ppg and stats that is key to wiining games win nothing seems to . the number life . if can add up how many point a game they will be getting you just turn a pot of gold. Im getting 120 ppg now.. So hey it does work, but your going to need some young studs who can ball!!

I mostly agree with this mostly although I will occassionally (once every season or 2) have to train GS if I have a few weeks packed with super important games. This is especially true when fighting to avoid demotion or fighting to stay in the cup. Never can be a strong word, but almost never is appropriate in my eyes.

The point of GS being crucial to a good team is important though. It is impossible to be successful in D.III or above without managing it properly.

agree. Next season he should get a couple of cheap P. Allstars or Allstar potential guys to train in.

Back to OP. Just get in minutes between 50-72 minutes a week. My "sweet spot" is more than likely 55-68 minutes. But still, try to get players around there and they will definitely go back to good GS. Good GS is 8-9.

hope this helps

I'd say maybe a week out of every season may require you to burn training on GS. So i agree, there will be certain weeks at some point down the road where managing minutes isn't so easy.

You should, with very little effort, figure out how to get your players to at least a 7 in GS each week. A rotation of 9 players for me commonly yields roughly 3-4 9's 2-3 8's, and 2-3 7's in a given week.

additionally, i'm check to make sure your enthusiasm is at least 5. if it's not and your CT'ing or going Normal, it will get noticed.

finally, a lot of teams are running motion and run and gun. might want to consider getting better at OD.

Of the TL players you have, handling and passing seems to be something you haven't looked for hard enough.

there are a few things to mull over. sometimes, you just run into a bad matchup for your team.

A 30k player with Average game shape roughly plays equally to a 15k player with Proficient game shape.

So you are paying 30k for a player that is performing like a 15k player.

9 players is not enough to keep up the good game shape and train at the same time.
