Hi,

I have a question about substitutes during a game. When I play a friendly game I use substitutes only for players who are playing on positions which I am not training but the problem is that the engine is making substitutions also for the positions which I am training (case in which I am loosing minutes for training). Why?
The only way to avoid this is to not use substitutions at all but is not what I want. What can I do to avoid this?
The way I train my players is like this:
game 1: Player1 / PLayer2(this is the substitute)
game 2: Player2 / Player1
game 3: Player3 -- I want him to play the entire game

I hope I was clear
Thank you

If you want a guy to play all 48 minutes, pick 9 guys and do the line up like this

Trainee/Trainee/Trainee
Player 2/ Player 6
Player 3/ Player 7
Player 4/ Player 8
Player 5/ Player 9

And pick Strictly Follow Depth Chart.

Unless your trainee fouls out, he will play the whole game.

there can be two major reasons for your trainee being subbed out.the first one being that you play too many players in the scrimmage and your trainee has low stamina.so when he tires off the coach subs him out.
secondly if you are playing decent amount of players but you use let coach decide then he is bound to be subbed out.
so u should try not to play more than 9 players in the scrimmage(better keep it down to 7) and place your trainee as the starter, backup and the reserve of the position where you are plying him and use strictly follow depth chart
