This is my third season in buzzer beater.
The first year i took over a team midway through the season in division 4 and just got mauled every game but one, and ended up getting relegated. Last season I just fell short of gaining promotion, losing all 3 games to the eventually promoted team by 5 points or less (my only 3 losses). Now I am cruising this season, but the guy who got promoted from last year is barley hanging on up there in division 4. This makes me feel not so sure about my chances? I have picked up three good players since I have played him.

also I've been running the motion fairly easily but would a princeton offense be good if I have a center with
JS 10 JR 3 OD 2 HA 11 DR 10 PA 6 IS 10 ID10 RB 9 SB 6?

you may not be ready for D4 arena wise, but now you've got a record that is BOUND bot promotion. almost any team in D5 with 20+ wins bot promotes to D4 if they lost in the playoffs. so basically right now you got the players for D4.......you just need the arena

My advice: Build arena rapidly before promoting into D4

7000 is a good goal right now if you get there before you hit D4, great, if not, better get the construction hat going....

PS: with the 200k you will get after promotion, SPEND ALL THAT on your arena. try to get a goal of 8500 seats, the "sweet spot" I consider for average D4 teams.

OF course if you do and ever promote to D3, you will need a 12k+ or so arena.

specifics: probably not going to get all the way up in courtside or lower tier. you need to reprice those to see an immediate return on investment. on top of the 350 bleachers, i'd probably try to add another 350. You should be in good shape on arena at that point.

What you encounter at D.IV mostly depends on the division you get placed into. Their are a few monster divisions out there, and a few weak ones. my best advice is simply to wait and see what your league looks like in the first few games, and decide from there rather than trying to fix it before you arrive on the scene.

Hey, you're in my old Div V league. Congrats on a great year! Do the AG Wizards still have that tough Center?
I had the same concerns when I promoted, and so right away bought a veteran SG (Bratosa) who helped me become a little bit more competitive in what was a fairly tough Div IV league. I would have probably been in the relegation tourney or barely scraped my way into 5th place, but several teams went bot during that season, so I actually made the playoffs (only to get thumped brutally in the Conference Finals by the eventual champs).

Like the other posts said, definitely expand your arena. If you win the championship, you're going to get a huge attendance boost through the first 15 games or so of next season, so more seats are great and also you can charge more for tickets. If you lose in the playoffs, you'll promote with the same promotion bonus of $200K, but apparently won't get that same attendance boost (I may be in this boat as well this season).

This has also been stated already, but it's worth it to wait and see how tough your league is before enhancing your roster. You've got some solid players already. Your bench could use some improvement, but that will automatically happen as you bring in a couple new starters and your current starters become reserves.

Best of luck.
