Hello everyone!

I'm a noob... and would like to know how efficient it is to train your team (if each player gets at least 48 minutes play time) in say: passing, jump shot, 1 on 1, outside scoring, and rebounding... from what I see I have not so great players and not to much $ to bid on better players... so I would like to improve the most amount players in the quickest and most efficient way.

Is it always best to focus on one or two positions in training?

thanx in advance...

moro

Yes, whenever possible you should train one position, or 2 positions when there's no other choice (jumpshot, driving, etc). Training your entire team is very slow and inefficient. Also, you should focus your training on young players, since the training speed decreases as they age.

Thanx RCVAZ and DR. J! I was just wondering because the past week I trained jump shot for my whole team and got several pops...
I'll start to focus only on 1-2 position training from now on. But, once the playoffs begin, I'll start to train free throws since I won't have anymore games to play.

Now related to the draft... I've only invested 10 k a week into it... Is it cost effective to invest more???
Some other questions... the 48 players listed in the draft... are they only from my league??? How many picks do I get? and am I correct to focus more on potential than star potential?

Thanx for the help!

moro

Thanx Dr. J! I'll finish 6th or 7th... so I'll up my investment to 40,000... How long will one have to invest in scouting from now until the draft??? I'm worried about spending tooo much money if I'm not playing games. Thanx for the tip... I'll erase my post and hopefully no one from my league saw!

Rhyminsimon.. thanx for the simulator... I definitely be contributing info!!!

IMO 40k/4pts is not worth it. You can get 1 pooint less but save 20k if you 20k/3pts

yeah. A1R is right. The best way to do it is to get 2pts for $10k all season long.

added: build your arena. Arena is the backbone of your income in this game.

Also don't try to purchase any of them 32 yo + players. They skills decline and well.........they will not be good for long.

Right now just focus on training that one person you got (the allstar as said above)

Make sure he gets 50-65 mins.

hope this added info helps
