Your game shape is very good well done. Your stronger players are your big men , look inside i guess is the way to go. Your opponent is strong also. He having home court advantage makes me think this will be very difficult series for you to win. He will most likely crush you if you go man to man. But his whole team is equally strong which renders the zones useless. You are in a very tough spot. Perhaps saving enthusiasm for games 2 and 3 but this doesnt leave you much room for error. I would be amazed if you win this. He plays mostly run and gun giving him alot of possesion to impose his personel advantage onto you. Perhaps using a slower tactic could also help you?

Yeah it is going to be tough, I thought of using low post for offense, but dont know what to do about defense. His big men don't score as much as the guards, so maybe 3-2 zone?

Thats because he plays run and gun , an outside offence , if he were to play a neutral offence or even worse yet an inside based offence he would murder your zone. Of course if he is active on the forums he can see this anyway. It is a tough choice which tactics to play , i have no idea specifically how i would play without knowing detailed player skills.

Men, I think he deserves the championship more than you. Look at the player level difference. He is a more likely a 3rd Div team. I think you have an excellent team chemistry but you have to focus on next year. However I got some advice for your defence. If you try any of the zones (3-2, 1-3-1) he would be able to take all the offensive ribaunds because he has a 40k salary center which is very enough for 4th Div. So, his center didn't score so much on his previous games doesn't mean that he won't. So, I think you shouldn't try zone defence. What about defenders ? Any outside defender on your team ? Why don't you match up him with his scorer ?

I agree that he is a more likely 3rd Div team, but it is getting annoying losing in the finals 3 years in a row. Of course I don't know where he gets the money to pay salaries, cause you don't get a lot of money from TV contracts, attendance and merchandise. He has to pay more than 300k, so I think he should be broke, but that's none of my concern. Well my best OD is 11, followed by another one with 10, so I wouldn't say they are very good. Besides they are always in the starting 5, playing in PG,SG positions.

I see this mistake being made in so many different leagues around BB.
If you lost in finals 1 year, and the next, and the next, what are you doing wrong? What are you going to do this time in order for it not to happen again?
If you stay in the same pattern, then you can expect to lose next year again. It will just be another team who has saved money, who spends on quality players to beat you.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I see your point. I always played so that my profit would always grow and my players salaries aren't too high. Maybe that's my mistake, too bad I spent a lot of money on expanding my arena, but maybe will turn out as an investment.

Rarely you will find an arena that is too big. Set good prices to fill the seats and win those away games. Have a good enough roster to win games, but there's no need to win every game by 80 when you can spend less and win by 20. The money saved can be spent on that playoff push.
