Hi all,
Currently, I have a level 5 trainner and plan to train inside skill for coming seasons.
I have two plan.
Plan A, One position trainning to young and tall guys, top 3 potential (7,8,9). Keep two players and sell one at the end of next season.
Plan B, Two position trainning to young and tall guys as well as old center and guards. Keep 4-5 players and sell 1-2.

Which plan will be better?
I have a concern on the effciency of two position trainning.
For a tall guy (18-20 age), how many pop he will have for two position inside trainning in one season?
(I expect 10-12 pop for one position trainning for young guys)

Thank you very much.

Plan A is better. If you go through with Plan B, you will make less profit since your players won't be trained as high as they could be. Secondly, training old players isn't a good idea unless they are, for example, 26 and have HOF/ATG potential. Older players have a significant slow down in training compared to younger players.

Two position training only benefits the player 75-80% of what they would've had if they were one position trained, if I remember correctly. The only time I would 2-position train is if I am training REB, 1v1, or JS. Just so you know, the player(s) has to play at least 48 minutes for the position of the skill you are training.

You can expect anywhere from 12 to maybe, 16 pops for a player who is 18 YO.

Although a combination of these can be useful, especially if your 3 big trainees need JS, HD, DV and REB training since you have to 2 pos these positions.

If you have 2 or 3 players that just need those trained or can benefit from those then 2 pos can be useful. But for IS and ID, you want to 1 pos that training.

You really need to first decide what you need trained. If your bigs are too sloopy (low HN) and drop a lot of rebounds, you might want to do 1o1s then you'd need more guys, if not and they just need a lot of IS and ID then go with the big 3. Although eventually you'll need to train REB and getting as many guys as you can in on that training is fiscally advantageous.

Why do they have to be HOF/ATG potential?

I think he is saying that you should only train the 25-26 year olds if you are trying to finish off someone with high potential. Like if they already have been trained since they were 18
