I think this is bug in game design!

Players with high salary are very cheap during season break. It is easy to buy such player with 100-200k. Then if you fire player immediately he will be listed with 1M asking price. Ofcourse no-one will not buy player with 1M if he was sold minutes earlier with 100k. That way you can sabotage NT teams at least for small countries.

There should be some time period when players cannot be fired or sold after buy.

NT players can´t be fired. Each country can take care of that on their own.

How to handle so called reserve players who are every now and then playing NT games?
It is not possible to keep all players in a team all the time.

Not talking about Italian manager....he didn't fire player. He sold player with 100k. You should check more carefully what is happening. That specific player was sold to BC Nestea, who fired player in 2-3 minutes after transfer!

But my point was not just one player. I still think that there is a bug in the game design

Why did noone from the finnish community buy him. Why did the team sell him at such a bad time? He could get more if the player has NT flag. 100k is not much to spend if you really want to save a NT player. You could prolly sell him for similar amount right away under protection.
