The following thread is designed to monitor and assess those teams entering Div II in Season 22. I have created this thread, and last season's, in the hope of promoting the talent of those teams coming up through the ranks of BB here in Australia. As you can see from the below winners from last season, Australian managers are of a high quality and comparable to the best in BB internationally.

Congratulations to Sundae09 who won the inaugural 'The Awesome Award' after being crowned Champions of Div II.3 and is now heading to the ABBL after only 1 season in Div II!

Congratulations to Big Fishy who won the inaugural 'Big Fish in a Smaller Pond Award' after being crowned Champions of Div II.3 and is now bouncing back to the ABBL.

The following table will highlight 2 groups:

Group 1 will be those teams entering Div II for the first time in their team's history and, as a result, are labeled 'New Breeders'. They will be competing for 'The Awesome Award'. This award will be given to the new breeder who has the greatest impact in Div II this season.

Group 2 will be those teams returning to Div II after a previous stint. They may be ABBL relegators or Div III Champions. They all have one thing in common: they have been here before. They are affectionately known as the 'Old breeders' and will be competing for the 'Big Fish in a Smaller Pond Award'. The winner of this award will be the team that has the greatest impact in Div II this season.

Good luck to those teams.

New Breeders:

1. Got No Reason (II.4) (38595) Div II.4
2. Sydney Sea Eagles (II.4) (196307) Div II.4
3. AzzAZ SwiNaDaDz (II.4) (197029) Div II.4
4. Springvale Shaquilles (II.4) (196584) Div II.4
5. Red Star Bayswater (II.1) (196493) Div II.1
6. Aussierulez (II.1) (196362) Div II.1
7. Foenix Suns (II.2) (196356) Div II.2
8. Pittura Rosso (II.2) (196462) Div II.2
9. Melbourne Demons (II.2) (196247) Div II.2
10. Wagadugu Hippopotamuses (II.3) (196142) Div II.3
11. Mayhem (II.3) (196212) Div II.3

Old Breeders:

1. Snuffies (II.4) (38896) Div II.4
2. branny (II.1) (38770) Div II.1
3. Doncastle Flames (II.1) (38623) Div II.1
4. WA IS A DUMP (II.1) (38870) Div II.1
5. Billy Hoyles Boys (II2) (38695) Div II.2
6. South Victoria Menstrals (II.2) (38671) Div II.2
7. CROCKERS (II.3) (38606) Div II.3
8. The J Ballers (II.3) (38880) Div II.3
9. Northcote Slammers (II.3) (38593) Div II.3

Well, the New Breed and the New Old Breed are here. The ABBL relegators and the Div III Champs. As I went through the teams' histories, two teams caught my eye. The Got No Reason team who only started BB in Season 19! In Div IV!!! Incredible progress for the youngest Div II New Breeder. The other team, for quite the opposite reason, are the Sydney Sea Eagles who spent a staggering 11 seasons in Div III.5 before finally escaping. Add an ABBL powerhouse here, a Div III champ with a big roster there, and you've got the kind of mix to make this season's instalment of the New Breeders an exciting one.

IMPORTANT: This coming season, the winners of each award will each receive 3 months of supporter.

Firstly, expand your arena as much as you can. Its way too small for div 2.

That said, your team is older than the New York Knicks, those starters will have to go soon or sooner You may be able to keep em for another season and get some wins, but skill drops are gonna happen.

For that small arena, and with the freshly promoted bonus, go:

14 bleachers
55 lower teir
180 Court side
1600 lux

I'd love to crown you the Big Fish in a Smaller Pond Award now, coachnoodles, but you're going to have to beat out some pretty decent competition this season. Good luck mate.

I was fortunate to obtain Ivan Ryder (in the draft) and sold him for quite a bit. from there i bought established players and landed in a rather easy div 3 league, so yeah been pretty fortunate you can say.

Now the real stuff begins!

To be in Div 2 after 3 seasons is a great feat.

My advice would be to sell up and keep a base div 2 salary of about 190k wages or less for the season so you can focus on arena expansion

The problem is will anyone buy my old blokes?

it has definitely helped me get to this point by buying established players, and i am totally aware of the decline in skills.

i will see what i can do, i only have 100K left over, so trying to buy a bargain established player to help me stay afloat. even if i dont make any money per week
