hello,

I'm thinking about a training plan for my trainees. I train a SF, a PF and a C at the moment.
First I want to give them some 1on1 and JS training before I start training them in insideskills.

to train 1on1 I will put them in the forward spot, but what to do with JS training?

there are three different opportunities (Guard, wingmen, forward). I would like them to train some IS, too. is it good to train them as forwards?
and if I do so is their Range ok for LI tactics?

PF:
Age: 19
Height: 6'8" / 203 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: mediocre
Driving: strong Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: average Free Throw: respectable

SF:
Age: 20
Height: 6'2" / 188 cm
Potential: allstar

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: strong
Driving: proficient Passing: proficient
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: proficient

C: Age: 19
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

Jump Shot: pitiful Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: average Handling: average
Driving: inept Passing: proficient
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

I can tell you what which JS training actually trains then you can choose on your own.

Guards: JS > JR > DR/HN
Wingmen: JS > JR > DR > HN
Forwards: JS > IS (taller players train SLOWER) > JR

I think the JR on your PF is low but it's not going to cause that much trouble on LI I think.

thank you very much..
are there some numbers or percentages? I would like to know if the JS training is equal in all positions and how much IS is trained.

are a lot of ppl training JS for Forwards or is it quicker to switch between JS for guards and then IS for C?

There's an offsite called the The BB Training Crowd-Sourcing Project where you can check the values and other analysys of stuff.

Check this topic (203921.1) for all the info and how to access it.

Second Team:
Canada Purple Haze BC
It would look something like this for the 19 year old 6'8" player

JS for guards: JS(49%) JR(14%) DR(6%) HA(5%)
JS for wingmen JS(52%) JR(16%) DR(8%) HA(4%)
JS For forwards JS(34%) IS(23%) JR(7%)

Percatentages are of what you would need for a full pop at that age

wow thank you very much. I guess i just discovered that I might get the best result if I only train 1on1 for forwards. that is kind of unexpected :)
