After yet another game where what I thought was a perfectly set-up tactic to give my trainee 48 minutes (trainee in all 3 slots of a position, 9 players suited up, strictly follow depth chart), ended with my trainee subbed out in the final minute of play (which was itself a bug since it was my starting SHOOTING GUARD that got subbed in at POINT GUARD in strictly follow depth chart and it was a blowout anyway), I am getting quite sick of this retarded coach not understanding how training works.

Ideally I'd like to see training minutes needed to get max training reduced to 45 to allow some leeway, but failing that, I want an option to be able to mark one player on the tactic as "do not sub under any circumstances". Training is a big part of this game and stupid coaches like the one I had tonight is making this a lot harder than it needs to be...

Incredibly annoying. So many times did I do exactly the same as you did, but yet again, my coach would manage to screw everything up.
For example, i had the same situation as you, with 9 players and strictly follow the depth chart, but my retarded coach subbed the trainee a few minutes before the end, while my PF was at the free throw line (the coach replaced everyone but him, naturally). Hence, my trainee had only 47 minutes.

If there's any way to fix this, please do so. It's ruining the game.

It's not going to be "fixed" because it is not considered broken. You are not supposed to be guaranteed that a player plays exactly 48 minutes in a game.

Any training strategy that relies on getting a trainee 48 minutes in a single game is inherently risky. If you don't want to take that risk, develop a better training strategy.

Well if the game is designed to constantly deny players 48 minutes why does training specifically ask for 48 minutes instead of say, 45?

Because training is not supposed to be so simple as to require no effort or strategy. It is extremely easy to get a player 48 minutes in a week. It is difficult to get 3 players exactly 48 minutes if you are one-position training.

Broken or not, it's just stupid, because the coach doesn't listen to what you ORDERED him to do. That's the issue.
It's risky enough to train 3 players in a league where competion is fierce, sacrificing the result so that you could develop your players. That's all the risk a manager should take, IMO.

Once again, my retarded coach screwed everything up.
He replaced my trainee IN THE LAST SECOND!!!!

I guess he was too tired to play that last second...

I feel your pain. I find this incredibly annoying. However the other posters are correct that this is a "feature" not a bug. Over many seasons I have just had to accept that 3 x 48+ is a rarity and that 2 x 48+ and 1 x 47 is the norm and that even 48+, 48+ and 40 will have to be accepted (if you need extra minutes for your prime trainee who missed a minute earlier in the week you need to sacrifice trainee number three).

In 99.9% of cases ignore the following: There is a slight skill factor here, if you can keep games close the coach is less likely to make these moronic substitutions, this can be very hard with scrimmages but you can look at your opponents patterns and if training is your #1 priority you can sacrifice a little game shape.

Triple 48 is just fine, as long as your training plan includes 1 on 1/JS for Guards or RB for PF/C. The trainee who doesn't train in a particular game and doesn't have 48 minutes on PG / C yet, plays either on SG or PF as a backup. So after the cup you can switch to 1 on 1 / JS or RB if something didn't go right.

I agree it's not the best of options, but it's only way to get 48 minutes consistently for three guys a week.
