Does the inside isolation attack work properly or is better to work to use LP / LI?

Depends on how you define "properly." From very limited observation, my feeling on the isolation offenses is that they get the ball to your best inside / outside player depending on which you choose, but then it's up to them to create their own shot. So if you're playing inside isolation and your primary big man has little driving and little passing, it'll dump the ball to him, he'll be unable to penetrate or make an incisive pass, so he'll give it back and you'll end up with a lot of low quality shots. It would be interesting to run this offense with a high IS/high driving player to see how it functions in that case.

I have come to like outside Iso very much as i have a PF trainee with real good outside shooting. He performs real well in that offense. I havent gotten inside iso to work well yet though even though i have tried to play my SF with good IS at both PG and SG. I guess DR and IS comes into play when one is looking to get Inside Iso to work well.
PA is pretty important on all players though.

I'll try inside iso again this friday in my PL game and see what it does.

That sounds about right. I will need to look back over some games that I played against an outside iso. I only played inside iso a couple of times, and the first one the best inside guy got injured in the first quarter. I definitely remember him passing the ball up a lot the second time, though, but he had decent passing and terrible driving.

I noticed in my games (and yours as well) that Outside isolation usually leads to great amount of assists. Much more compared to basic offence. And it is quite strange. As it is not so isolated as it should be :) Yes, it is common that isolated player makes an assist after drive. But still. In this offence everyone makes assists like crazy.

However, large number of assists did not improve the offensive flow. Can someone explain why?

I was told that the offensive flow is dependent on how good you team's assists / my players' assist abilities are.

It sounds like you're looking at it backwards. Offensive flow is simply the handling and passing skills of your team - increasing this makes you more likely to increase the number of assists you have. But the calculation only works in that direction - if you have awful offensive flow but are playing a motion offense against a 2-3 with atrocious OD, you may rack up 30+ assists but that won't mean your flow will go up.

One thing to keep in mind is that in most offenses, passing on your big men doesn't really show up in the flow, but good passing on bigs in a look inside can lead to a lot of assisted buckets on passes from one big man to another (or to a driving guard). The best way to look at it is that the ratings displayed after the game are a nice approximation of your overall team abilities but the game at its core still looks at each individual player's skill set and the matchups matter most there.

I noticed Outside Isolation tactic works good with a passing big on SG or SF. He has to have some HA though. Also great Passing on C spot is needed. PG with bad shot will drive a lot, which is a good thing. With correct distribution of player's skills, this can be a great tactic where most scoring comes from SF and PF.

basic instruction

Inside isolation attack:
-need all around C/PF (HA,DR,PA...),especialy passing
-need guards with good JR
-strong inside/outside attack, but hard to create workable team for this tactic
