This guy is loaded in my opinion. He's at that point in his career where training is slow. He's got HOF potential but too old to really do focused training anymore. I've got a young buck that I want to train to play SF but will need to cut into the minutes of the other guy unless I move him to SF so that I can play by Center at PF (which the C plays great there). I'll show his skills after the other guy in question.

My starting PG is set and I picked up another guy just to play the 3 but looking at my current 2's skillset, I could really utilize him there in his place instead. So my dilemma is if I want to really begin this younger buck's training and I would rather utilize my new guyn at the 2 instead of the 3, then that leaves my 3 open which my current 4 would have to slide into. As it stands right now, I can keep my lineup set as it is and just give my young buck 48 minutes at either the 1 or 5 spot each week depending on the training.

So, after all that, looking at my current 4's skillsets below, would you play him at the 3 or the 4 spot?

Jump Shot: sensational
Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: prominent
Handling: prominent
Driving: tremendous
Passing: average
Inside Shot: tremendous
Inside Def.: tremendous
Rebounding: prolific
Shot Blocking: awful
Stamina: inept

Free Throw: prominent

As for my young promising rookie, I'm a little late to his initiation this season, although we're only 5 games into season 22. The game has him listed as a PG but I think he has a future at SF or PF, depending on how his training progresses. As promised, here is the young buck I am training:

Potential: Star
Height: 6'6" or 203 cm

Jump Shot: awful
Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: respectable
Handling: average
Driving: inept
Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: average
Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average
Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: inept
Free Throw: mediocre

I would play him at PF. More of a mismatch for the other team imo. If the OD was a little higher then i would play him sf but i would pf

I would play that player at SF and play LI.he is a really good SF for LI and in div IV,he can the league's highest scorer playing at SF.
if you want him to score even more play LP.but for that the passing of every player must be good.

I would play him at SF offensively in an LI, and defensive switch him to PF, or play a zone defense if the rest of my team allowed it.

Sorry guys, I'm really late getting back to this. I've been in the middle of making a cross country move so I've been setting lineups and realized today that I forgot about my post. I've been playing BO all season and he's currently one of the best players in the league. I'm almost tempted to test out the LI offense against some of the weaker competition.

My understanding of LI is that the offense moves the ball around with the focus on moving the ball inside mostly by driving the lanes, right? I'll definitely give it a shot in the next few weak games I come across. I don't think I've ever really played any offense outside of BO, RNG, Motion, or OI, Inside Iso. I've played some LI, LP, and PTB over the years but never consistently enough to get a feel of the offensive flow.

The nice part about being light years better than your conference is the ability to test a few things out. Your talent level is high enough above just about everyone in your league where as long as you put out a remotely cogent lineup, you'll win. Try a few different things out for the rest of the season, and you'll find the most effective one possible.
