I got the idea of doing this for Canada, from "Morwoods U21 Manager of the Week" thread over in England: (234224.1). You should check it out! I decided to do it Canada-wide and add some mini twists to it however!

Basically in this thread, every Friday I will post an interview from a Division III, Division II and Division I team. So three different interviews. Just some generic questions. Then, throughout that week(Friday-Thursday) I will post mini-articles highlighting the going-ons of those teams. This will include post-game articles, transactions, Press Releases and other miscellaneous going ons.

Every week in the interview I will throw in a random, "Question of the Week!". This question will usually be related to real life things without getting very personal.

Here is what I need YOU to do!
1. Suggest people to be featured in this thread.
2. Suggest a Question of the Week.
3. Read about and Support these teams and strive to be featured here!

For this week, I have already chosen teams and they have received questions to answer for their interview. If you didnt receive a BBmail from me with questions, you have not been chosen, but maybe next week! I still need people to suggest other managers though, as I may need backups and its always nice to get started on the next week early! Also I hvae chosen a Question of the Week, but once again, suggestions are welcome!

So there you all have it, some new eye-candy to look out for on the forums throughout the season!

This weeks featured teams are:
Division I: The Hounds(25054)
Division II: Mighty Ballers(33147)
Division III: Toronto Raptors 9(33888)

Former featured teams: DivisionI/DivisionII/DivisionIII
Week 1: Philosopher Kings(24916)/蝴蝶Supreme(33256)/Calgary Spitfires(33358)
Week 2: Beanz Odyssey(24876)/The Aristocrats(33776)/Rouge et Or(33500)
Week 3: The Hounds(25054)/Mighty Ballers(33147)/Toronto Raptors 9(33888)

Calgary Spitfires. Ranked right around 6,000 in the World Rankings, despite spending 5 seasons buried in Canada's d.3

He's a cool guy, always willing to talk to new players and offer some advice, and despite being #2 in the overall rankings he's without a doubt going to win our league and a long deserved promotion this season.

They also handed me my first loss this week. And haven't lost a game all season.

Division III Team of the Week!

This week I have chose the Calgary Spitfires(33358). They are in their 6th season of division III. Here is my interview with them.

Mod-Bballin: Team is looking good this season. What do you think has been the key to your success?
RA_Blaze: Patience. Coming into D.III seasons ago, I was looking for instant gratification, and after seeing stronger teams promote ahead of me, I have learned to be patient with the process and learn to develop my assets better. I have had the same trainees for a while, and most of my success is due to them taking another leap and becoming consistent performers and leading my team.

MB: This is your 6th season in the very same league in division III. When do you think you'll finally promote? Do you think you're ready?
RA: I'm hoping this season, while it could be argued I am the favorite to promote in the division right now, I am still unsure. My main competitor is MBCT who has been in the Division nearly as long as me, and has always been a very good manager. He beat me in our match-up this season for my only loss, but has since sold/is selling some of his top players. He should have a good chunk of change when hes ready, while my savings are looking pretty low. Am I ready? Most definitely! I need to shore up my team and bring in a few bigger salary guys. This might be my 25 year old trainee's last year of training, and they are on track for another decent salary pop and should look pretty good on my D.II team

MB: Who is your favourite BB player on your team right now? Ever?
RA: Frank Holtz (19313538) . He was my first ever real scouted draft pick and trainee. I selected him as a 19 year old 6'8 SF with the 8th pick. I didn't really like his skills at first, but he had ID and OD, and I knew that he wouldn't foul out. I was very noobie at the game at the time, and made a lot of mistakes with him, but now at 25 he is starting to take shape and put up some very good games. I imagine that hes kind of like a bigger Dwyane Wade.

MB: Any tips for the new managers out there?
RA: I cannot stress enough the importance of Game Shape and Enthusiasm. These two variables will dictate whether you win or lose in a lot of match-ups. If you need a hand with how to manage these things, check out the FAQ or PM Mod-Bballin nearly 900 times per day with lots of questions(Editors Note: Don't.).

MB: Whats your favourite part of BB?
RA: I love watching the games live. The actual engine that runs the game is very entertaining for a basketball junkie like myself. I will often watch 3-4 games on BB in different tabs while League Pass is on the TV a few feet away.

MB: Who is your favourite Canadian BB manager, based on anything you want to base it on?
RA: I can't really say I have a favourite manager, and I'm not egotistical enough to say myself. I guess anyone past and present who has been involved in stuff the the Canadian teams, seems like a lot of work and responsibility, and I respect that. A lot of my former III.9ers like TigerUnderGlass (Serenity Now!) and Coach Coach (Fundamentally Sound) are both BB legends in their own right. And current III.9ers like Ib (Black Tigers), The Raven and Vineham who have helped keep the III.9 forums active this season.

MB: What is your ultimate goal in BB?
RA: I guess Naismith eventually. Maybe final 4 in the cup? B3? I don't know. I'd like to see my team continue to develop and see where that takes me.

MB: Ever been skydiving? If so, how was it? If not, would you want to?
RA: Never. If I wanted to be strapped to some dude and piss myself, I'm sure I could find a better place for that downtown.
