I have 980,000 dollars and am looking to get one big man and one guard with the money. I am just not sure which would be better, to buy and old guard and a young big man or vice verse? I am looking at getting one player 21-23 years of age to get some more youth and maybe even get them a few more pops while training my SF and the other player 27-30 years of age just to do the job for a couple of seasons. Look at it this way:

The salaries and skills are both the same for the older and younger players but would you rather have A or B? why?

A. 22 year old Big man and 29 year old guard

B. 22 year old guard and 29 year old Big man

B.

B/C Guards cost a whole bunch of cash on the TL and you might be happy with him for next 7 seasons or so w/o having to worry about buying a guard.

Big Men are a dime a dozen on the TL you can get them any day so I'd definitely choose B b/c 1 I get a guard for 7 years instead of 3 and then I can easily be able to get a big man in 3 seasons

I would make your decision based on what your SF needs to train most, and perhaps get the younger player a bit older than 22.

I think 22yo should still be being trained full time unless they are capped, and probably up until ~24+ if the secondaries are good (and they should be). So what you buy should depend on what you want with your SF. Since I see he is 18, I don't think it matters a whole lot since you will need to do both inside and outside training.

That being said, if I were in your shoes, I would buy a 21yo PG with 7+ IS who needs OD, train OD for a whole season, and then flip him. Spend the rest on an old salary efficient big man.

If I was in your shoes and didn't want to flip my trainee, I would spend like 850k on a PG who was like 23-24 and already had good skills but could use OD and 1 on 1. I would train those for 1-2 seasons (1v1 1st) and then the player would be "finished" when the SF moves on to whatever training he needs next (probably inside). Then I would spend 150k getting a salary efficient 31yo PF/C and sell him part of the way into his 33yo season (the age increase makes you pay more on depreciation but less on salary).

Really I don't think it matters much what you do first, although there is an elastic effect bonus if you train 1v1. I think the most important thing is that the young player you buy is getting trained every week.

980 K seems like a lot of money, but in a way ,it ain't really that much.
I would buy just 1 player a guard or a big man, depends on what is best for your roster.
And try to buy a player who is 22/23 who has received multiskilled training and is not capped.
Train this guy at his cap in that way you have already 1 star in your team, meanwhile you gonna try save money.
And after 1 or 2 seasons you can look again on TL for your next trainee and train this guy at his cap, then you will have your Guard and a BIG man who will be your key players.

When you're done ,you have still young players and if you ever decide to sell those guys ,you gonna receive a lot more money.

* A few weeks ago I have a bought a Center, his inside skills are really OK,since Iam training guards he will now be trained
on passing 2 pops, and 1 pop on OD after that I will train JS 4 pops, then he will be capped, and I have a multiskilled PF.

I will. ;) As of right now though, there is no point because I am not selling out my arena. I also tend to use all the promotion money on my arena.

By the time you're selling out at the prices you have them set to, you'll be in a division where you'll really regret having a small stadium. ;)

Hmmm interesting. What would be better prices then, in your opinion? I don't know for IV. because the last time when i was in IV. I promoted from V. league and then promoted again to III. the next season.
