Hi, new manager here and I was just wondering what grade rating translate to in the draft and how much should I worry about it in terms of potential and star rating.

Grade rating relates to star rating (initial skills). It is the sublevel of star rating so is more accurate. For example a 5 star player could be A+ or A-. The A+ guy has better skills within the 5 star range.

Thanks for the info Aussie Dude. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to gain extra revenue when playing a rival match away?

You can't get any revenue from the match directly. But, if you play well (win) more fans will show up to your next home game. So winning rivalry games is a bit more important than winning regular games.
