Im facing my rival the last game of the season, whom i lost to remarkably earlier in the season. Im torn between two options: Play TIE and rest up for the playoffs and possibly take a hit on my attendence and forfeit my number 1 seed, or make sure i win this game and most likely sell out my arena throughout the playoffs and secure the number 1 seed. Does rivalry games have a huge impact on attendance? Which option is best for me?

rivalry would have more impact if it wasn't last game of season. At this point, having the highest enthusiasm, and all your best players healthy, for the playoffs is more important if you are trying to promote

You should sell/almost sell out the playoff games anyways.
If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Oh I see, does being in a relegation game have a negative impact or is that just getting relegated? I unfortunately am probably heading to a relegation game because of unlucky game engine one game, and because some teams in my league decided to buy a bunch of players off the TL for the last few weeks of the season even if it puts them in negative income >.>

Only getting relegated will. You might lose a few season ticket holders for next season depending on your standings.
