Well I obviously have a decision to make. I have 300k so I have a couple options.
1. Buy an impact player
A. I would buy a strong 6th man type player who can provide valuable defense off of the bench
B. If I go this route, should I get a big man or a guard?
2. Put it into the arena
A. If I do this, chances are slim to none that I will promote this season
So If I buy an impact player then I have a decent chance to promote or I could invest in my arena and make a run next year.

If you can still buy a good player that can help you in the future too, I think you can give it a shot. You'll need a good SG/SF type of player, and maybe you should reconsider your preferred offense; I don't now if patient is best suited for your team. I can't see the skills, but you have 2 good centers and your 3pt shooting hasn't been very good in games you lost. If you add a SG/SF with good driving and IS you can be more versatile which might give you a better chance.

However, investing in your arena is never a bad choice, and if you are risk averse or just want to play conservatively that would be a great option too. If you're looking for fun you might want to try to win this year already.

I would invest in your arena. That guy in your league (ExplosiveBubbleWrap) is pretty good and I don't think you will be promoting this season regardless of one transaction.

Buy someone and then use the promoting money to upgrade your arena. You can beat the guy on the other side his team is not very good. If you can get someone for the right price do it. Youll make so much more money in league 3

Never bad idea to invest in arena. Only long term source of income. If you did promote this season, your arena probably won't match up to others, and you may get relegated which is bad for #of season ticket holders. Invest in arena this season, and win promotion next season which will allow you to compete better after the promotion. Better in the long term.

Well I added 2000 bleachers to my arena, putting me at almost 11k. Cheers mates!
