2 weeks left of training this season. I think I can get OD to Strong in that timeframe. My goal is to make him a PF with outside skills. I plan on getting OD to 9, JS to 9, Passing and Handling to 9, and then work on Inside Skills.. Do you guys think he is on a good track so far? Any other advice?

Sounds good. You'll need to train another season of outside skillswith him, of course... but that should be possible. He'll need another two seasons of inside Training afterwards, of course.

Try to finish his touches by giving him some One on One or Jump Shot for Forwards in the very end, both are easy ways to train his Handlign and JS even further even at a progressed age. My 24yo Trainee got 10 Skill-Ups this season while training 1 on 1.

Along with 1v1 Forwards, I would also try to get him to strong/proficient OD, while getting his PA to strong. Not only will he be able to shut down opposing bigs when defending jumpers, he'll also be a great passing option against the OD of opposing bigs, which are usually low.

Good job but you need to get that OD/ID both to strong ASAP. If he can't defend, he can't be of use....
Here is my trainee, he is turning 26 next season...
Weekly salary: $ 48 473

DMI: 825300
Age: 25
Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: tremendous
Driving: tremendous Passing: average
Inside Shot: wondrous Inside Def.: marvelous
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: awful Free Throw: average

Experience: mediocre

You also need high ID/DRIVING/HANDLES to get the elastics out of you OD training. I am going for another OD pop in the offseason. I am going to finish my guy off with JR and passing because I will get a push with the elastics.
Here is a SF for my U-21 team last season.(Im the U-21 manager of Japan)

Weekly salary: $ 20 262

DMI: 386000
Age: 22
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: Superstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: tremendous ↑ Handling: sensational
Driving: tremendous Passing: prolific
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: tremendous
Rebounding: proficient Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: average

this player was a double sensational D(OD/ID) at 21, and now he is double tremendous at 22 almost 23. And look at the low salaries on these two. D is cheap except in the game engine. If I were you...I would train 1 on 1 Fs through the offseason(unless you have 3 game weeks) and then OD/ID all of next season. Get his rebounding to strong ASAP too. So he will be 19 in 3 weeks...I would shoot for this by the time he turns 21(30 trainings)

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: prominent
Driving: prolific Passing: strong
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: prominent
Rebounding: proficient Shot Blocking: mediocre
this would be a 21yr old with 83 TSP, and right now you have an 18yr ole with 62...With a level 6 trainer, 21 pops can be done. The work you have to do ASAP is that low ID...so get on it.

Keep an eye on the shotblocking skill!

With the upcoming change this might be a skill that you need to improve.

I respect all opinions Wolph. I appreciate you chiming in. When I got him 2 training weeks into the season he was at 52. So He has recieved 10 pops in Outside Skills this season. I am training with a Superor Trainer and single position with 1 other trainee right now.
