Is it once a week? At one point during the day?

Or can a player listed as 1 week become well enough just before game time?

When do you know for sure he can or can't play?

One week of injury spans out for 13 days (anywhere from one day to 13 days i believe) so then just add those up fr each additional week that he is injured. It can either be a very short and convenient injury or a little longer one. there is no way to tell exactly how long he is out for though.

The player will be healed fully and won't have an injured for 1 week by his name any longer once he is fully recovered which you can check by just looking at his page or your roster.

Thank you. I did know that part, actually. What I was wondering was exactly when in the day the full recovery will happen, if it's going to happen. In another thread, someone said overnight, so if you wake up on a game day and he still shows 1 week, then he won't be available that night. That makes sense. I was just wondering how far ahead you can safely set a lineup, because it can really be critical for minutes and depth if a player comes back or doesn't and you leave him in the lineup.

Related question: I have 4 healthy players available for my scrimmage this week who still need minutes, and one guy who may or may not return from injury. Does it matter if only 4 suit up? Does it impact those guys negatively at all to go all 48 minutes if they still stay under the weekly max?

I ask because I could easily pick up a couple $1 players on transfers and suit them up for one game and then cut them, if it will make a difference at all. I'm in the playoffs and don't want to take unnecessary chances.

That may have been me you were referring to. If someone's injury is for "1 week" that can be anywhere between 1-13 days. So you can only safely set your line up on the day of, and after the injury is over (games 14 days from that point).

You need at least 3 (3 or more) to not forfeit then business as usual. There technically is no "weekly max" unless you set a personal one. The only negative impact I can see is 48 mins = more chance of an injury in the game. So less minutes played is less chance of injury. If you don't need all 48 minutes, just getting $1 subs to get "just enough" minutes would be the safest route to take (that I can see)
