Yeah, you can make a defensive switch, but I would recommend playing your guy at SF (assuming his skills are good enough offensively), then make a defensive switch somewhere that would let him play PF on defense. If you do this, make sure that whoever you switch out will be able to defend their defensive positions, or the other team could find that weak spot and run over you. For example:

PG plays defense as PG
SG plays defense as SG
SF plays defense as PF
PF plays defense as SF
C plays defense as C

Make sure the 2 players that you switch on defense have enough OD/ID, so the opposition won't be able to score on them like no man's business.

I was going to suggest that you should run a Patient through your Center, but he has a 2-week injury. Ouch. The thing I would do is then run a Patient through Handgraaf, if that wasn't already your intended plan. Is there a spot in your opponent's defense where Handgraaf could exploit? If so, put him at that position offensively, but make sure to place a defensive switch if the weakest defensive player of the opponent won't be at the spot he will be playing offensively.
