i hope i don't the first that comment on this ..
but why the names for the division is "great8" and "big8"
that's confused and complicate .. why not simply prevent this ..?

do it like the real , and more clearly . east and west ..
it's not need to be a problem .. and that's will doing only good .

sorry for my present progressive/simple =[

Teams are not geographically aligned, so using geographical indicators would not work.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

why not let every country decide the names they want to give to their conferences? (we could chose that one conference would be named after a famous player and the other after another, or even chose different names depending of the division if that does not bring extra load to the servers...)

Yes, this one could be changed by LA´s. Follow translation-> standings-> group1 and group2:)

This one should be closing soon, cause this is not Global suggestion:)

LAs do have some carte blanche, but many do stick with Big 8-Great 8

Well, in my country, that's already the case. The names have been changed after some kind of vote has been done between the players.

Actually, it appears that it is a function of the language.

If I look at your standings, it still reads Big 8 and Great 8. I have to switch the language to see 1ère Conférence and 2de Conférence.

Well, during the All-Star Game, it's written "Dubuisson" (best ever scorer in French Basketball history) and "Parker".
