i am checking the different offsides at the moment.

i am wondering what the different numbers for potential and cap mean..

first there is buzzer-manager.com. my trainee will have 88%-98% in the potential bar at the end of his training plan

in the trainingcalculator he has 20,76 and the range for cap is defined as 20-22.

What does this mean? is it the approximate number for low and hard cap or just an estimate and he is somewhere inbetween?

my second question is: what happens if he hits the low cap. how much does his training decrease?

isn't there a soft cap which just decreases the training speed before you hit the hardcap?

that is what i want to avoid :\
im planning to cap my SF with 1on1 along with fresh guardtrainees, but if he is already capped at this point I'll have a Sf with under 10 DR/HA. so i will try to keep him under the cap. it is just not so clearly understood when exactly the cap-wall hits.

anyone some experience with the programms?

I prefer to use Potential Score instead of two numbers for cap range.
This value shows how many potential was used and it's easy and intuitive to see how many potential remain to train.

For example potential = allstar means that player should be capped when Potential Score is between 6,00 - 6,99 (depending on sublevels of potential). For other levels of potential it works analogical.

So there are two things that pertain to your question:
1) there are sublevels of potential and
2) a player doesn't have a cap really, just a point at which training slows down.

This means that there is no finite limit on potential. And so josefka's formula that I use in the training simulator describes cap as a range within which training slows down. (FYI it automatically takes into account the player type, too.) What the numbers in the training simulator represent are the edges of the range in which the training slow-down may begin.

So, your plan to get your player to 20,76 is likely not to run into cap problems. And if he does, you can probably spend not more than a couple of extra weeks to get to your final goals.

thank you all. i guess it makes sense then to cap them with 1on1 because i will have my new guard trainees as well to at least have some pops each week while im waiting for skillups on my old guys :)
