Calling all NT Coaches!!!

I for one will not be running but I look forward to a solid debate and the appointment of a new manager.

I would like to put my name in for consideration as Canada's next NT coach. Here's what I promise to do if elected Canadian National Team manager:

1) Sabotage

Canada's NT is improving. As an American I have a deadly combination of arrogance and insecurity, so I perceive this as a threat. If you elect me manager, I promise to destroy your National Team in ways that not even Bryan Colangelo could conceive of.

2) Ruin your community

I, like many Americans, make terrible jokes about Canada. Syrup? Moose? Hockey? You thought you heard them all? Well prepare to hear them again and again as I bombard your chat rooms and offsite forums with Wayne Gretzky references.

3) Crunch Time the Bahamas

Those guys have it coming.

4) Accept bribes

Need a merchandise boost? Every person who votes for me, will get a player on their team called up to the Canadian NT.

5) Still do a better job than mod-bballin

Even after all of the above, I'll still do a better job than mod-bballin. Was anyone even paying attention when he was U21 manager? That guy was like a syrup covered moose trying to play hockey vs Wayne Gretzky.

Ahem, Alright, my name is Mod-Bballin, but you can call me whatever you want and I am throwing my name in the ring for the NT manager position! A little about myself first:

I am entering my 13th season at the helm of Lightning Thunder and sit in the difficult III.7 league. I have spent 5 seasons in div II already and im just preparing myself for a run to Naismith. After 13 seasons in this game, I feel like I have learned a lot about the game and the tactics involved with it. I have been actively involved with the Canadian Community since about Season 14 and know a lot of Canadian managers.

Some credentials:
I made the quarterfinals of the Canada Cup once and playoffs in II.2 twice!
I have trained two Canadian U21 players, one of whom is on the radar for the NT: (22158255) (12588489)
I was Canadas U21 manager for 4 seasons, with results that were passable.
Started and run Canadas Stats and Records Thread.
Im the only Mod in Canada! ;)
Started the offsite forum.
Heavily involved with Canada Forum Activity.
Ive been a mentor to many people.

My Plans/Goals:

1. Main Goal
Do better than beanerz! That really is the only goal. Continue on the successes that beanerz started and beat all the standards he set. His term was the greatest two seasons in Canada NT history and the next step is to beat that.

More Specificially..
I hope to earn an automatic bid for the worlds and get two wins in the second round(at least)
I hope to win the Americas Trophy.
I hope to improve on our already impressive world ranking!

2. My Plan
Continue on the obvious success of our current strategies. if it ain't broke, dont fix it. Right? Continuing long tactic and strategy discussions offsite.
I want to get a very detailed and descriptive depth chart that includes players from every age and position.
Lots of communications with managers with prospects and help with training.
Continued activity both offsite and onsite.

Now im drawing a blank on anything else to say, but if you have any questions or concerns id be happy to answer them in the debate thread! last, but not least I plan on extending our 1 win streak against the USA!
