Welcome to season 23. For the benefit of all new comers, DIV.32 is no walk in the park. We have consistently ranked in the top 5-10 most difficult IV leagues ever since I have been here. This season should be no different.

Here is my take on this seasons Power Rankings as they stand today:

Rank - Team Name - S22 Results - Team Salary

1 - Steel Guardians - Relegated from DIII.7 - 252k
Key Players - C Ramon Kellog (75k); C Thomas Malliaras (51k)
Notes - Steel Guardians lost a relegation series last season and have dropped down to IV.32. They are led by Guardians draftee PF Ramon Kellog and C Thomas Malliaras. Even with a large arena, it is likely they will have to restructure to stay profitable. Still, they are the early favorite.

2 - Super Sonics - IV.32 Runner-up - 145k
Key Players – PF Pawel Guzal (16k); PF Yahav Benayoun (14k)
Notes – Super Sonics promotion dreams were dashed with the playoff injury of their newly acquired Center, Miguel Lappin, who was promptly sold. They return in Season 23 with a very salary efficient roster which will continue to over perform.

3 - Charlie and the Unicorns - 2nd in Big 8 - 216k
Key Players – PG Gilbert Myles (50k); C Sam Reiter (41k)
Notes – Charlie fell short last season in the playoffs despite the late season acquisition of PG Myles. In their second season from DIII demotion, they are most likely itching to get back with their large payroll.

4 - Kansas City Tigers - 2nd in Great 8 - 201k
Key Players – SG Giuseppe Oro (43k); C Mahmoudou Sall (37k)
Notes – The dark horse candidate to promote, Kansas City now has a very good front court rotation to go along with 3rd place MVP Giuseppe Oro. A mid season trade of one of the bigs for another back court player could put them over the top.

5 - Detroit Chuckers - 3rd in Big 8 - 145k
Key Players – PF Aaron Shepherd (22k); C Clyde Baum (22k)
Notes – Detroit has fallen into a trend. They have had the top defense for a few seasons running, but lack firepower on offense and exit in the first round. Expect more of the same this season with no high salaried additions expected.

6 - Duluth Dirty Dogs - 4th in Big 8 - 138k
Key Players – PF Adriano Serra (30k); PG Ronald McCain (24k)
Notes – Reigning IV.32 MVP Adriano Serra leads the Dirty Dogs into season 23, but he will need more help than McCain to seriously threaten promotion. With no trainable players currently on the roster, this addition will have to come from the market.

7 - Slatington Serpents - 3rd in Great 8 - 138k
Key Players – PF Lopo Gomez (34k); PG Yannic Feuchter (18k)
Notes – Slatington looks very different since their Season 21 runner up season. They have a very salary efficient roster and more than likely have money to add talent. Lucky for them, as S22 MVP runner up Lopo Gomez needs all the help he can get.

8 - BallhoggersFTW - 4th in Great 8 - 165k
Key Players – C Maxime Hautekiet (38k); SG Renato Pataki (28k)
Notes – Made the playoffs last year in their first season from DV.96. They have a formidable roster, but probably not much more than a first round exit again as it stands.

9 - Hells Kitchen - Missed playoffs - 217k
Key Players – C Hudson Buckley (76k); SG Razvan Lucaci (26k)
Notes – Trainee Hudson Buckley comes in with a shiny new 76k salary, but can he do more than rebound and defend? He will need to if Hells Kitchen wants to make the playoffs. Razvan Lucaci can’t continue to be their entire offense.

10 - DaLips - Missed playoffs - 120k
Key Players – SG Remi Imedashvili (20k); C Ercument Kapucu (16k)
Notes – DaLips has managed to stick around for 2 seasons, but not much more. They did well to add Imedashvili last year, but need to do much more to be taken seriously this year.

11 - Honolulu Purple Tide - Won Relegation - 200k
Key Players – SG Simone Vinzoli (87k); PF Patrick Doss (45k)
Notes – Honolulu returns leading scorer Vinzoli and drafted trainee Doss, but they are very thin otherwise. They may have to make a drastic change such as selling Vinzoli and using the proceeds to surround Doss with more talent.

12 - SA Hitch-a-naters - Won Relegation - 100k
Key Players – C Kenneth Dill (53k)
Notes – Sold off most of their team last year outside of Kenneth Dill. They haven’t been able to seriously compete since arriving in IV.32, winning relegation every season outside of one 5th place finish. They may be getting ready to reload, though.

13 - Boston Celticzzz – DV.80 Promotee - 149k
Key Players – C Justo Macias Reja (33k); C Gergely Hungler (18k)
Notes – Spent 6 seasons in division five. They appear to have a decent roster salary wise, but the fact that their arena only seats 6,000 may lead to early monetary issues.

14 - World Domination – DV.88 Promotee - 85k
Key Players – SG Jonas Novak (31k); PF Severino Baquerizo (18k)
Notes – Need to add a lot to avoid relegation.

15 - Dire Wolves - DV.70 Promotee - 71k
Key Players – None
Notes – Need to add a lot to avoid relegation.

16 - New York Knights - DV.155 Promotee - 69k
Key Players – None
Notes – Need to add a lot to avoid relegation.

Good luck to everyone!

Wow I think the last time I was projected as a top 3 favorite in my league it was season 18 :p. Good to relegate to a D IV that has a fairly active forum though

Has to be some sort of voodoo magic. I don't know if you are bragging or asking why I placed you #2 in my rankings. I would like to see the skills of some of your key players, though.

You finished 4th. He made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs. If you notice, I pretty much went off last year's standings.

FYI, I did this as a service to the new players and as a general overview to add to enjoyment of the game. No need to insult me. I can leave you off next time if you prefer.

i got my power rankings:

BallhoggersFtw: Fourth seed last season
Notes: Will make a better position and lose on purpose but could promote if he wanted to. we should all thank him

Everyone else: Only those who BallhoggersFTW chooses to promote, will promote.
