Player 1. You can get his od 10 until the season ends. And he will look better than player 2, when he is 19.

I think both are pretty close overall, especially if you're going combo guard with them (rather than say SF). For me it depends on a few things:

Is your third trainee going to play in league games? In that case, the +4 OD on the second guy is a big difference. You can definitely fix the OD on the first guy, but it will take much of this season.

Do you plan to train them until they cap? In that case, the +1 RB on the 2nd guy is somewhat annoying. At near p-allstar cap levels, a +1 RB can translate to 2K weekly salary, and 0.2 cap number (of course, given unknown sublevels, they could actually be very close in RB, so it may not really matter).

What tactics do you run? If you're looking to get IS trained up for these guys, then I'd go #1. That extra year, and the extra 2 inches, will help.

Who else are you training? Given the training plan you set out for them, what would these guys end up as? Try using rhyminsimon's training planner to check.

Lastly, is one more foul prone than the other? For training purposes, you obviously want to lower fouler.

I got a 21 year old Hof, that im traing as a sf, but hes already done with his inside training(or almost) so basicly what im gonna train is all 6 gaurd skills + alot of 1on1 forwards, got a second trainee thats a 19 year old mvp. im following a u21 training plan right now, the 21 year old going on 21 team this year if everthing goes right, so can't change training plan. and also these 2 will always get 48+mins, so that 3rd guy probable not going to get 48+min every week, probable not many, but hes going to get hopefully 35-40+ mins, probable a waste of that potential, but i drafted both of them, and wanna go with 1 of them.

honestly, this is tough to call then. If you're set on the other guys taking most of the time (especially the single position things like pressure and passing), then I'd go the 19 yo, because of his higher OD. He can definitely find time in the 1v1 and JS weeks you'll do. He'll need less OD and the same PA to get to a useful skill level there.

I might train the 18 year old if you can commit to fixing his OD later, when your two other trainees are finished.

Alternatively, you could flip a kroner. :)
