I think both are pretty close overall, especially if you're going combo guard with them (rather than say SF). For me it depends on a few things:
Is your third trainee going to play in league games? In that case, the +4 OD on the second guy is a big difference. You can definitely fix the OD on the first guy, but it will take much of this season.
Do you plan to train them until they cap? In that case, the +1 RB on the 2nd guy is somewhat annoying. At near p-allstar cap levels, a +1 RB can translate to 2K weekly salary, and 0.2 cap number (of course, given unknown sublevels, they could actually be very close in RB, so it may not really matter).
What tactics do you run? If you're looking to get IS trained up for these guys, then I'd go #1. That extra year, and the extra 2 inches, will help.
Who else are you training? Given the training plan you set out for them, what would these guys end up as? Try using rhyminsimon's training planner to check.
Lastly, is one more foul prone than the other? For training purposes, you obviously want to lower fouler.
