The first time i logged in, i wondered what about player's weight. This issue got out of my mind since then, and i recently was thinking about it again.
It could be interesting to get this additionnal caracteristic, it would make players' profiles more complex. It could interact with the height in order to speed up some trained skills (and slow down others).
I have no idea if it would be hard to implement to the training speed, if it could have an incidence during the games (so we'll go to the GE ...uuh) etc.
What do you guys think about this ?
Cheers !
PS. : I haven't found any topic about this in the forums, so if it is the case, my apologies for this double thread !

I also have wondered the same thing. I think it would definitely positively impact the game. The only problem that comes to mind is that it would be really hard to implement.

Weight is not a constant either... Would it then change? Thus changing the training speed? Most ppl dont grow after 18 so that makes sense. But very few people stay the same weight for 1-35 years

I don't see why weight changing would be a problem.

Because it happens without connection to the skills?
We´d have 211 guards with 240 pds and 80k salary at PG level soon if it ´s not connected, and if it is connected, then please make a suggestions how.

I don't see why weight changing would be a problem.
By having weight to me says we need speed and strength factors too...
Adding in speed and strength makes out of position training way harder too...
Now just from weight, we have to redo skills, training, and the entire game engine....
Seems very practical for something meaningless like weight.

You've noticed very interesting points : strength and speed.
Both could be linked to the age.
Strength rises until cap age is reached, stays still then decreases.
Speed should rather start high when the player is young, then decreases +/- fast.
No need to change GE, maybe just some adjustments to training speed of some skills ( for example rebounding and IS for strength and Ha&dr for speed ).

Weight, speed and strength might not be displayed directly, but their influence on the game is already implemented in the "basketball skills" part. If you improve in rebounding, do you think that really only is "you learn to catch the ball" better? it might also be a bulk up. As well as driving and handling might improve due to a focus on physical speed.
