Antonio!

Antonio Menchinella has been playing crazy this past week and is now #1 in rebounding and #3 in assists in our league. He has had two triple doubles in a row, posting incredible numbers of 23 points, 30 rebounds, 15 assists and 19 points, 30 rebounds, and 10 assists. He now averages an incredible 14 points, 20 rebounds, and 7 assists on the season. He has worked on his shooting over the summer and bumped his shooting % from 38% to 59%. Antonio is a key player on this team and is a big reason why we are able to have a 6-1 record.

Kingz acquire Philippe Lucas for $6,000.

Many fans questioned why the GM decided to buy Philippe and responded saying, "We got a 7 man roster, all have been playing hard and are tired. Philippe would allow us to lower their minutes and give them some rest."

Triple-Double-Machine

Antonio has had his THIRD triple-double in a row in a regular season game. He put up 23 points, 30 rebounds, 15 assists in the first, 19 points, 30 rebounds, 10 assists in the second, and 10 points, 14 rebounds, 14 assists in the third. Can he keep it up??

Tight conference..

There are 3 teams in the Great 8 with only one loss. ATX, Kingz, B.I.G are all have 7 wins, 1 loss and all the losses were from playing each other. Kingz defeated ATX 119-103 in the first game of the season, ATX defeated B.I.G, and B.I.G defeated the Kingz. It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the playoffs.

Triple-Double machine placed in the market

After only playing a minute in the first quarter, Antonio Menchinella goes down in pain grabbing his leg. He left the game and did not return. Doctors say 2 weeks and with the small roster the Kingz own, they had to say goodbye to the 27 year old center.

Kingz pick up PG, Pieter Hardenberg for $103,000

The Kingz have picked up veteran PG, Pieter Hardeberg, and will take over the starting PG role for the Kingz. Pieter is the first point guard the Kingz have ever owned. Pieter was drafted 37th in the season 8 draft and has spent his whole career Der Gemüsesalat. In a press conference he said, "I thought it was time to move on. I'm getting old (33) and haven't won a championship. The Kingz have a great group of guys and .. yea I'm excited."

Kingz add more depth, sell [INJURED] Antonio

Just a few weeks ago, the Kingz had a team of only 7 players (One injured so 6). The Kingz have now let go one of their stars, Big Ant, to purchase Terry Belanger, Philippe lucas, Pieter Hardenberg, and Charilaos Ayiannis. None with as much talent as Anotnio but will allow the starters to rest a bit more.

Hey your draftee Edju Palmer is doing really well. He is on my team and is in the running for the U21 SF spot. Thanks for putting him on the TL.

You get a lot better merchandise money if you keep your players though ;) Plus they are fun to watch em grow. Thats just my opinion though.

Haha, If I knew that I would've kept him. But I needed the 777k you bought him for, asap, because I need to promote out of this league and I'm a guy without enough patience to watch a player grow.. :)

Well I'm 12-1 this season now. Picked up some great players with the money and hoping to get out of this stinkin league.

Rodolfo's future??

The Kingz seem to be plagued by injuries this season. The PF from Italy, Rodolfo Gasbarro, fell hard after playing 20 minutes against the Dallas Lions. He's going to be out for about a week. He finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. With the small amount of money the Kingz have after going shopping, They are put in a difficult situation – The Kingz currently earn -$8,000 after a recent firing & hiring of a PR-Manager. The Kingz were deciding on which player to sell or fire before the game so they can get back in the positives. Rod earns approx. $12,000. The Kingz have to decide whether to keep him or release him. When the Manager CJ was asked this question he responded, "Rod has been a big part of our team this season, but at the same time, we need the money. I'll have to talk about it with my staff, you can expect the answer tomorrow."

Two Kingz voted in as All-Stars for the Great 8.

Jozef Likta and Zeng Dajun we're both voted in as All-Stars for the All-Star game. Jozef was also voted into the Three-Point shot contest. Jozef played just 10 minutes in the All-Star game and had 5 points (2-5 shooting), 1 rebound, and a steal. Zeng played 14 minutes and had 13 points (6-9 shooting), 1 rebound, and 1 assist. The Great 8 beat the Big 8 181-120.

Jozef Likta voted into the 3-point contest, and WINS!

For the first time in franchise history, a King (Jozef Likta) was voted into the 3-point contest. 26 year old Jozef averages 21.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists. He shoots 49.2% from the field and 41.3% from three point land. In the first round, he crushed all the other players with 22 points, while the highest of any other player was 15. In the second round he (16 points) had double the points of his opponent J. Horton (8 points) and won the contest.
