I put my player on sale and after I did it I pressed the "bid" button. Just like that. How could I cancel it? Or the only hope is that someone will be kind enough and overbid it?

You can't cancel a bid so you will either get the player back minus the selling fee or someone will buy him.

Thanks for the answer. This "move" has a potential to wipe out my positive budget balance. Yeah..I read my nickname and think "top dexterity? really?"...

It's not that bad, you'll be paying yourself, so the only money you'll be losing is the 3-15% transfer fee (depending on how long the player has been on your team). So I'll guess you'll lose about 20k on it.

Will also reset the transfer window, so if he were originally going to make 91% of the transfer based on how long he was on the team, that will reset the transfer clock, and make the fee start back at 78%.
