The BloodyEagles Timses

This thread is for the unofficial newspaper of the BloodyEagles. There haven't been nearly enough team newspapers these days. The BloodyEagles aren't quite on par with America's Team (194206.1) yet, but then again nobody is.

Many people have found themselves in hard financial times in recent years. Not the Eagles though! With a transfer list surplus of over $13 million dollars in under 2 years, they've figured out how to do more than just stay afloat in a global economy. They've thrived.

No one is pulling for the BloodyEagles to win the cup more than me.

The Eagles exemplify the very best of capitalism & good honest competition! Go Eagles!!!

It's All About the Benjamins

The legend of BloodyEagles goes all the way back to 7/3/2011. When a young Eagle made his first sale. Selling a player he bought for $1k for $100,000 within a mere 10 days! Impressive, but not extraordinary.

He quickly honed his skills however, and by 7/11/2011 he managed to sell a rookie with 6th man potential for $224,400!!! After buying him for a mere $4k. (21864333) The legend was born.

Let's praise some of his shrewd wheeling & dealing:

(21133675) -- a rookie with 6th man potential sold for $ 530 000!!! Nice move. Most people would have kept the player, but BloodyEagles were smart enough to move him for over half a million dollars.

(21282931) -- rookie w/starter potential. Bought for $5k, sold for $300,000 1 week later...
(23925409) -- rookie w/ 6th man potential. Bought for $16k, sold for $300,000 1 week later...
(23934098) -- rookie w/ star potential. Bought for $10k, sold for $300,000 11 days later...
(23931634) -- rookie w/ 6th man potential. Bought for $3k, sold for $290,000 13 days later...
(25084648) -- another rookie sold for $270,000. Was an awful player, as he averaged a game rating of only 4.0 that season!
(26039951) -- rookie with starter potential, sold for $357,000!!!
(27461270) -- rookie with star potential, bought for $26k, sold for $350,000 2 weeks later...

This is what BuzzerBeater is all about! And nobody does it better than the BloodyEagles. Go Eagles!!!

Never Lose Your Edge

He may have started back in July of 2011, but he never lost his hunger for making money. Check out a couple of his recent transfers from the past month:

(28548807) -- starter potential, bought for $1k, sold for $199,000
(28407742) -- rookie, bought for $6k, sold for $250,000 3 weeks later...

Just yesterday he had listed:
--> 33 year old bench warmer, highest skill is average, bought for $1k... Listed for $100,000...
--> 18 year old with under $2k salary, awful skills, and no training. Listed for $180,000
--> 18 year old with star potential: atrocious inside shot, pitiful inside defense, pitiful rebounding, no skill higher than respectable, bought for $5k.... listed for $220,000!

Unlike a lot of Americans, he refuses to get comfortable & dulled by success. Go Eagles!!!

It's not Just Rookies

You can make money on veterans too. Here's an example:

(6876946) -- Here's a player that was sold 5 times for between $2k and $30k. He sold him for $ 265,200.

Of course there's a bunch of other veteran moves too, but you other Americans wouldn't be smart enough to appreciate the greatness of the moves. Go Eagles!!!

Ohhhhhhhhh man too funny! You know how in Show business they say even bad publicity is good publicity? Well something tells me that that somewhere there is a bleeding Eagle thinking..."Ohhhhhh S^^^, didn't need/want that!"

I saw this guy a while ago on his move up the ranks and noticed these crazy sales. I'm honestly wondering how it's possible.

How is it possible?

Subquestion... is it possible to answer the question above without wondering if he owns about a hundred teams?

That possibility is impossible. Not that its true, just that, i mean, look at those sales. I hope its all clean and we can find a way to mimic it. Though ive never had the energy/focus to be a decent trader.

Why is it impossible? Use of proxies/creating accounts on different computers (say computer lab), etc. It could definitely be possible. Eventually you'd get caught, but it's very doable. And given the absurdity of some of the transfers shikago highlighted, then it seems actually like the most probable scenario.

Wow, I see. The team I beat in the Cup, a NBBA team for that matter, is a whining little girl.

I saw this guy a while ago on his move up the ranks and noticed these crazy sales. I'm honestly wondering how it's possible.

How is it possible?

It's quite simple. As the BloodyEagles's's' #1 fan (Go Eagles!!!), this is how you do it:

Step 1: Buy lower potential rookies for next to nothing

Step 2: List those scrubs for around $200,000 to $600,000. You didn't think people would actually bid the scrubs up, did you?

Step 3: PROFIT!!!!

Oh, & you know that rule about having to self-report overbids on your own players? (Or risk being banned). IGNORE IT! That's a loser rule for losers. Remember, you're a winner & awesome Amercian. You're above reproach.

Because you're so awesome, people can't wait to buy your low potential scrubs for big prices. Sure people can buy an 18 year old star potential guy with 6 skills respectable & another skill average for $7k (28791781). Or perennial all-stars with respectable defense for $2k... But why would they when they could buy a 6th man from you for $530,000???

BTW, you don't even need to use TL advertisements, since Eagle-man isn't a supporter.

Good to see the BloodyEagles's's' fan club growing. Go Eagles!!!
