How is it possible for my entire team to lose a game against a team with 4 players, when I dominated in every aspect...??

Even with TIE, this is ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. Not the first time this happens, either. I'm definitely losing patience with this game.

I would like an explanation as to how something so ridiculously unrealistic can happen.

I did scout. And your comparison is not valid - because he had one great player, one good player and 2 bench warmers against an entire squad, including a staring lineup of all above-average players so it's not comparable to a squad of high schoolers against a couple of NBA superstars.

Look at it from a POV of realism, not from a game engine that bases itself solely on numbers and formulas. Regardless of any bonus homecourt and crunch might give, what about a bonus a team should get for having more players on the court? And what about a penalty for never resting your players?

If 5 players are playing 4, they can never be properly defended - there's no way that team is getting 15 offensive rebounds, let alone 35 defensive rebounds! Especially when my rebounding was 2 levels higher than his.

Every point attempt for my team should have an advantage, since he cannot properly defend me and there is ALWAYS a man open.

His 'best player' would be at a huge disadvantage, because I could always double team him and STILL have all of his other players covered. There's no way that player is scoring 50 points.

Completely unrealistic.

Well your wrong about one part. He actually has five players on the field. One is a Lucky Fan though. So even though it is the worst possible defender in the game he is still there.
If you actually scouted him well you would have seen that when he actually plays his "good" players he has near no ID and high OD. So why gamble with playing outside offense?
Oh yeah and his OD was five levels higher then yours. That sure does a lot more then what two levels of RB does.

I scouted him - and he TIE'd every game this season. I played him earlier in the season and beat him by 102 points. Do you really think it was a 'massive' risk' to play my best offense against him...?

And his OD was only 1 level higher than my OS, not 5...

This was NOT your best offense.

Calm down and accept this loss.

It is my best offense - I'm far stronger outside than in.

Well, yeah, I mean, you put up a proficient (medium) with the outside attack, and that's *FAR STRONGER* than the proficient(low) inside scoring you did the prior game.

His best inside player is a PF with a salary of 1k. You'd have had a better chance of winning with a five PG lineup playing LI or Low Post than you had with a R&G. Of course, if you were capable of something better than a mediocre outside defense it wouldn't have mattered - but his two guards hit 16 of 31 from three point range.

The simple truth is that if you're going against a team with one great player and one decent player, both are guards, and their best inside player has a salary low enough that you'd probably fire him if you drafted him with MVP potential, it doesn't matter what you do best - you exploit that gaping hole and blow them out with an inside offense.
