Game Preview
This evening at 6:30 EST the US National Team will take on Argentina in a crucial second round matchup in the Americas Tournament. I decided to use taxpayer money to fly to Chile and report on the game.
The first thing I noticed at morning practice was Canadian NT manager Mod-Bballin, in a moose disguise, filming our plays from the stands. When assistant coach rhyminsimon confronted him he threw a packet of maple syrup at him and ran away. Our NT manager Sleet has been feverishly making calls back to the US, and now has approximately 34 players on standby to be called up for this game if necessary. Coco has also been recalled to help keep Bballin away.
The players seem relaxed, Nemesio is wearing his crocs on the court and Mikey Walter is annoying everyone by defending jumpers during shootaround. Unfortunately the team is down a player, someone let Len Nielsen out of his cage and he immediately bit Evan Lorenz in the ankle. Ron Foote will make his NT debut today, he was called up to replace and provide blood to Lorenz.
