It'd be good to see the skills for us to get an idea of if he can make the national team or not. 19 years of age sets him back a year.

There's only 1 player, a guard, with MVP potential out of 17 US NT players. Add the fact that he's already 19 and has lost his best year (age 18) of training and I would guess that he's a very, very, very long shot.

MVP usually cap before getting to their NT teams. They solve that by sacrificing some primaries and stacking secondary skills, but its a slower route and you lost the best training year.

If we're talking about Bill Jacob I'd say it's actually possible, I'm thinking of a specific build that would work well with his height and the NT might appreciate. You can join the offsite forum and post about him to get more opinions and details (check the NT page for instructions to join the offsite if you aren't already a member).

But you really would have to train through about age 27, which is perhaps more of a commitment than you know -- that's over two years real life time!!
