Just got back into Buzzerbeater and inherited a young 18 year old shooting guard, check out his attributes

Age - 18
Height - 6'2
Potential - Perennial All-star
Salary - 4000

Jump Shot - respectable
Jump range - Average
Outside D - respectable
Handling - atrocious
Driving - awful
Passing - respectable
IS - Inept
ID - mediocre
REB - average
SB - average
STAM - mediocre
FT - awful

Got any tips? I am thinking training pressure on PG and getting his outside D up...where to go after that?

His handling and driving is terrible. I would get OD up to proficient and then go into 1v1 for guards until his handling and driving are both up to respectable (which will take A LONG TIME), but then he should also get quite a few pops in jump shooting so he could look something like this:

Jump shot- prominent (3 pops)
Jump Range- average
Outside Defense- proficient (2 pops)
Handling- respectable (6 pops)
Driving- proficient (6 pops)
passing- respectable
IS- inept
ID- mediocre
REB- average
SB- average

This should fill up about his entire season of training i think. It's unfortunate that he started out with such bad handling skills as a guard... But he should still be a very good player.

He should train his HN/DR quickly due to the elastic effect from the OD.

Train 1v1 Guards or Forwards for the majority of the season and you'll be on the right track

from my understanding of how training works...i suggest you train handling strictly his first season as it train driving while giving a boost to your Outside D as well. by the age of 19 he will have approx. the following:

Age - 19
Height - 6'2
Potential - Perennial All-star
Salary - 5500

Jump Shot - respectable
Jump range - Average
Outside D - respectable - PROFICIENT (+ 2)
Handling - atrocious - STRONG (+7)
Driving - awful - RESPECTABLE (+4)
Passing - respectable
IS - Inept
ID - mediocre
REB - average
SB - average
STAM - mediocre
FT - awful

keep in mind these are just guesses but I think this is a fair estimate. Now here's the good news, there are factors that gives you favor in training this way. his height is ideal for guard training, so you may actually reach these numbers quicker as there are certain bonuses in training due to this fact, giving you extra weeks to train other skills as well...possibly...hopefully...shoring up weaknesses is good policy, but it's not the only option...good luck.
