It's been 3 weeks since our disgraceful exit from the World Championships, and I want to give you an update as to what is happening with the USA National Team.

I have decided that regardless of what happened, and what will happen, we will not be outworked.

To that end, I have scouted every active team in the USA, from the NBBA down through IV.64 - roughly 770 teams in all.

We now have a strong database of players that could contend for roster spots on the USA NT, and youngsters that will be great players in the future with careful, focused development.

The next step is to scout foreign leagues for USA talent. To that end, I have created a scouting matrix of leagues that haven't been scouted, and also those leagues with no active users (requiring no scouting, obviously.) We hope to assemble a team of volunteers to assist in this endeavor, and to assemble the most complete information possible to help further the cause of our nation's team.

I still burn from our elimination. We were better than a 1st round loser, and it is a completely unacceptable situation. Going forward, we will not be outworked.

You know I am. You have been working like crazy since our exit from the tournament (before too) and I am willing to help out more anyway I can.

Well, I was thinking of undermining you, but, after that rousing speech, I suppose I'm with you, too. Gotta show US-GM staff solidarity and all...

It's soccer but with a twist. The defenders and forwards must get stoned before the game, rendering them mostly useless, despite their apparent quality.

will the US's performance this season determine its placement in next year's world championship? Are there ever continental championships?
