Arguably the most interesting feature releases of this season -- which is available to everyone -- are the new bookmark and page view counters. All players will now have a counter on their player page that tracks how many teams have the player bookmarked. Additionally, a second counter will appear on the player page of transfer listed players and it will display the amount of times the player has been viewed since he was listed, excluding views by a player’s owner. One final change to make note of is that all managers can now sort a team’s transfer history by team or sale price.

That's from the news updates. I found the counter information on transfer listed players but not the first one that tracks how many teams have the player bookmarked.

Am I just blind? Where is it?

BTW, that second counter for TL players will count every time the same owner goes back to look at the player. So 10 views could mean one owner 10 times or 10 owners one time or anything in between.

It's the same line for both...

Transfer List Statistics: This player has been viewed 70 times since listed and is currently bookmarked by 2 managers.

I think he is asking where is it on players who aren't on the transfer list. The news post says that ALL players will have the counter indicating how many teams have bookmarked the player.
I don't see it on any of my own players, and I even went and bookmarked a couple myself. I also don't see it on any player I have bookmarked from another team who isn't currently on the transfer list.

As I read it, this pertains only to transfers. The preceding paragraph is referring to transfers, as is the paragraph containing the sentence about the counters and bookmarks. Only that one sentence has no mention of them.

But if this feature is not restricted to only transfers, possibly only the manager of the player can see how many other managers have a player bookmarked. For instance, if I bookmark Theodore Eller (which I have done to see if this may work) then only you would be able to see the bookmark; and not other managers.

I still believe these changes are restricted to transfers though.

But if you'll notice the sentence after the one I bolded makes it clear that the transfer list players are an additional feature. I mean, the sentence starts with "additionally" so I can't fathom why they would do that if it was not an additional feature.

Additionally could also refer to the fact that the page view counter feature is in addition to the bookmark counter feature. It doesn't have to be about transfers and non-transfers.

That being said, I have a legitimate question for you. How useful would a bookmark feature for non-transfers be for you? I'm just trying to understand the need to bookmark a player of which I cannot purchase, nor see his skills to have a reference to scout training upgrades; not to mention the need to see how many other managers have also bookmarked the same player. Seeing how many managers have bookmarked a transfer makes sense to me as you have the opportunity to gauge the level of interest in a player, as well as how many managers may possibly bid in the last 15 minutes of the auction after the text alerts have gone out.

I simply don't see the need to count bookmarks for non-transfers. If the feature is meant for all players, hopefully I'll find a use for it.

For people whom are training players that are u21 or nt potential for whatever countries.
That way you know if people are still checking up on him and interested and if they get too expensive for someone if you sell will there be buyers.

The scouts on the offsite forum do a great job of this. You also get to see the actually skill progression of the U21 and NT candidates there.

It's a supporter feature...

Transfer Notification
You can now schedule notifications to be sent to your mobile device to notify you when any of your bookmarked players will be sold. Need to get that quick bid in 5 minutes before the deadline? Want to track the player's bid 24 hours before they're sold? Now you can with the Transfer Notification feature!

Go to Preferences> Mobile Setup

You can set it up to send a text or an email. Although I don't receive the score alerts for some reason, the bookmark feature works perfectly.

Does no good if your player is from Nigeria, or Israel, or tuomi, or Guam, or etc
